Yep, those nipples are a must for the provari. I learned the hard way last week-came across a site with a cheaper 18650 and thought I could save a few bucks-but no nipple-no provari power.

Wish I knew for sure, but I'm still impatiently waiting for my Provari (status still says "Processing". Ugh! Anyway, I believe from what I have read here and pictures on Provape's sight that it needs the batteries with the nipples.

The CGR18650CH's came and NO NIPPLES! Grrrr... I went up to Radio Shack and picked up batteries. After first cycle, they do seem to last longer. I go through 2-3 batteries/day (pretty heavy vaper, I guess), so I'll get a pretty good feel fairly quickly, as to battery life. I just put one of the CGR18650CH's in the unit, and I have an AW in my traveling case. We'll see.....

You do two to three 18650s a day?!?! That's intense!

Imagine how bad it would be if you were using one of those 100 mah mini cigs...that means you would kill about 50+ charges a day! ...After I got my first mini cig kit, once I got to over 10 charges a day, I started to think "there has to be something better" and wound up here :p

Okay, I just changed the battery... That's eleven hours vaping at 5.2 volts with a 3 ohm carto. So... that's, what? About 9 watts. I didn't chain vape, but I vaped pretty steady with the exception of about an hout and a half, when I didn't vape at all. Nine and a half hours of vaping at 9 watts. Better than what I have been getting with the AW's, I think. We'll see when I have to replace the AW I just put in it.

Just replaced the AW. 4 1/2 hours, same carto, juice, etc. Significant difference! WOW!
