Best batteries for the BUZZ??

How do you test batteries you currently have to see if they are about to be trash?

I did have a set begining too wonk out...Pretty sure I threw the suspet battery in the trash before shipment...When fresh off the charger test charged voltage with a volt meter...They should show over 4 volts when fresh...Mark them as pairs and vape them a bit and retest with the volt meter..Some will lose charge faster than others...I got six of the Black Trusties and never used the silver Ultras again...I thought all of the ones you received were operational though...The blacks will regulate them too back ups at any rate....

Well thebatts i currently have came with the buzz. They are the ultrafires from the notcigs site. The flame jacketed trust fires are at mad vapes. I saw them on ebay and it doesnt say anything about them being protected. I just wanted to make sure that all the flame jacketed ones were protected. Im sure they are but i just wanted to make sure.

Yes they are protected batteries landlord. In the picture you see that little indentation going around each end of the battery? That is the protection circuit on the negative end. Non protected batts go straight down, no indentation.

I saw some on ebay, for s**ts and giggles I asked if they were protected and they said no. Don't worry didn't order them. Lol but I was under the impression that all of the flame jacketed trusfires were protected. These were in hongkong by the way. Lol

Well in Hong Kong you can get pirated versions of just about anything but they usually work about as well too. The non protected will work in the Buzz because it has 5 way protection but I like to play it safe. I had one battery that had the protection circuit go bad on so I removed it and I still use the battery.
