Hi-- This is my first question post to ECF.
I've been lurking for quite some time and want to mention firstly: thanks to anyone who's contributed to all the great info at ECF-- I've already put some of it to good use.
I was hoping for some technical help with getting started with a simple mod.
I've been thinking about ordering an ePalm-- I think it's attractive and would look particularly spiffy with a Pro-tank, but am wary of the whole 18350 battery situation (safety, charging, etc).
Does anyone know which battery top is best for this mod, button or flat?
Similarly, I've read somewhere that PCB was important to look for in a mod battery.
I've been looking at a PCB 1200 mAh for sale at SmokeRevolt, and was wondering if that sort of battery is a good choice for the ePalm.
Lastly, regarding charging, what would be a safe, fairly inexpensive charger for the 18350s?
Thanks.

I probably would not buy a charger that only charges 18350s. You can get the Trustfire 001 for only a little more and it will charge most 18*** batteries.

Personally, I don't like the ePalm's looks and is not quite a mechanical mod. It does have some internal circuitry and just seems to be an Ego that you just put a battery in.

If you like the look and are simply getting it for cosmetic reasons, I'd say go for it. However, this does not strike me as worthwhile mod to buy batteries and a charger for. Also, do some research on Li-on batteries before using them.

Good luck with it.
