ego battery and charger

I have looked through the forums and technical threads but couldn't find an answer. I put my ego 650 battery on to charge and the light on the charger goes off. Not green or red. When I take the battery off the charger the light goes green. I just charged another battery on the same charger. Anyone know what the problem is?

If it does the same thing with two different batteries then it sounds like it's more than likely a problem with the charger and not the battery maybe a loose connection inside or something.

Unusual, but does it charge them? Does it get warm quickly or at all?

It works with the one battery, an ego twist, but will not work with the 650. It was working before.

Too iffy. No reason to take a chance with it then. Just replace it asap.

Replace the battery? I didn't think it was the charger. Dang it, it is only two weeks old
