Just got in on a Co-op for one of these devices. I am upgrading from an ego style pv. The Co-op also provided a kick. I am a newb when it comes to a mech. I have a couple questions.

1. Do you really need a kick?
The kick as I understand it provides short circuit protection and will cut the battery off at low voltage to keep from damaging the battery. What other functions does it provide?

2. batteries, batteries, batteries???
I want to keep the PV as short in length as possible but have a battery that will last all day.
What is the best battery?
18490? or do you recommed I just go with the 18650 I know the 650 is longer.
There are so many different batteries what is the absolute best battery?
Consistant vape throughout the day is most important.

Thanks.

You'll be fine with the AW oranges. Safe Chemistry (IMR) batteries are less likely to go volcanic on you due to their construction.

A "kick" is a variable output device that gives electronic mod functionality to a mechanical. It sits on top of your battery to be in-circuit.

You have to drop a battery size to use it as size wise 18490+kick = 18650 length, for example.
