All AW's here. I have one efest 18350 that is my "backup" for when I've drained all the others and forgot to charge, sitting alongside my eVic's stock Samsung ICR 2600mAh. I've read the efest 2000mAh IMR gives the AW 2000mAh a run for its money, but their 18350 is inferior to AW's, giving less actual capacity and doesn't hold its voltage as well under load. I've noticed the efest 18350 doesn't last quite as long as my AW, I get about an extra 1-2 hours out of the AW depending on vaping habits for the day.

If you are looking for a battery that fits, works well and has good length of time between charges, give the Ultrafire XSL 18650 2600mah a try. They are 68mm long and fit the Vamo well.
For stacking, I use the Efest 18350's. They seem to drive the Vamo better than others I've tried.
Have you tried the Ultrafire XSL 2600mah? I see that it's protected, and I've read too many stories from people saying the Vamo doesn't work with protected batteries

people say they dont work because if i remember correctly they have a peak 2.5 amp output - not even the limit the vamo itself can reach, which is very low and isnt recommended for APV's, you should always use imr high drain batteries in something like the vamo
low drain batteries will work in mods but you limit the amount of power they can produce which probably isnt very good for the circuitry.

I used the Panasonic GCR 2250's in the vamo and they last a long time, as they are on clearance everywhere they are cheap right now.
the new Panasonic 2900's look kickin and want to order some soon.

the best battery in my opinion is the cgr18650ch and charger is the xtar sp2, it fits many sized batteries and you can quick charge at 2a or 1a or slow charge at .5a great charger, and the battery lasts the longest for a 18650 that I have found. and discountvapers has the battery for 7.99 I think which is the best price I have found.

So there is no confusion - I use the RED Ultrafire XSL 18650's in the Vamo - These work flawlessly and have never misfired.
There are, for some unknown reason, several versions of the xsl 18650 in RED/BLUE/GREEN. Blue is low discharge and a general application battery. Green, I have no clue.

RED is high drain and handles 3+ amp loads.
If you think you have to worry about what battery to run in a $35-$400 Mod, Consider having to choose what battery to power the High torque Servos in an $8000.00 1/3 Scale r/c Air Craft.

Also be aware any battery that ends in FIRE probably comes out of the same factory. You could almost consider these as model grades rather than different companies. Some are bottom of the line and others get progressively better depending on Spec requirements.
AW is just that - A SPECIFIC Spec requirement to present for sale as an AW battery - AW is a reseller not a manufacturer(from my research)
