Vamo V2 Button Top or Flat

Hello all,
I am buying a Vamo V2 pretty soon (not form fasttech) and have a battery question for Vamo owners.

Do you get better performance from the button top batteries or the flat top batteries? Or does it even matter?

Am planning to get Efest 18650 2000 MaH batts for it and they are available in either. (Button or Flat)

Do yourself a favor and avoid batteries like efest, trustfire and go with an AW-IMR, Sony, Sanyo, Xtar unprotected brands. I have used efest brand in 14500 batteries and find they don't last long. You will pay more upfront for the other brands, but you will have to buy fewer of them.

I don't know the answer to button or flat top, but I have a vamo2 and have used both.

As I am new to ecf sorry for not doing my due diligence and looking deeper for my answer.
