Which Sony's do you have and what would you like to improve?
I'm questioning why you are shorting out a high-quality, high-amp battery in the first place? And two of them at that. Sounds like you are not practicing sound or safe habits, are using unsafe gear, or both. New batteries are not going to cure your woes.aznsamurai82 said:I shorted out my two other sony 18650 batteries Cause of the cursed fogger v2

Fogger v2 is prone to shorting out batteries but lesson learned and I'm going to get a 2 cent fuse before firing it again.
How did they react to being shorted? Venting or burning or... are you still alive? Did you check your pulse?
You know they made a version 2 that can be reusable...
US18650VTC3 and I just want to try a new battery that has a good amp discharge like my sonys and are reliable

AFAIK, depending on which of those fuses you get they activate at something like 5 or 7 A. Check things out before you go that way.
I thought it might be that battery.
If you want to maintain the 30m A max discharge rating, I would not go with the Efest. I haven't tried them myself, but I've heard from too many people that they don't last as long as the rest. My choice if I wanted something different for high power would be the AW 1600 mAh.
