Best beginners mod kit

The very best first mod for a beginner, is whatever mod they buy first.... Let's face it, the first mod is likely only the beginning of a long list of mods bought, each will be nice. The first one you buy will always have a prominent place in your collection because it was your first...

My first was a RoughStack, learned to hate the switch, loved being able to clean it up with super fine steel wool, still have it but seldom use it, would never part with it.....

After checking out various reviews online and then speaking to a couple of different brick and mortar stores, I opted for the MVP 2.0. Choose it due to the longer battery life on one charge so I wouldn't have to change batteries constantly since I was a 2 pack a day analog smoker. Staff at two different stores suggested it based on how much use it would get with little access to charger or batteries while working. Been two weeks, no analogs. Now experimenting with different types of clearomizers and juice to find best matches.

While you're trying toppers, make sure to add carto tanks to the list. Especially if you don't want to get into rebuilding quite yet. I would have saved a ton of money if I tried carto tanks first. IBTanked.com is great.

as vaping is all about personal experience it really does depend

however typically a good "starter" is a variable voltage ego battery, a (glass) protank (bottom coil tank gives cooler vape) and a metal vivi nova (top coil tank give warmer vape)

as for mod? depends on mechanical or not....if not than I guess a Vamo would be a starter? But there again it all goes to taste and price itaste svd seems to be good.

but these days there are all sorts of options out there....me personally had they had this when I started vaping

it would have been mine lol....still debating on getting it now just because...but atm it's not necessity so it's on hold.
And of course...I WANT A REO lmfao

I own one of those generic evod kit, a provari+kanger protank2, and about 8 eroll.

Though I don't regret buying the provari, the protank 2 seriously blows. If I could start all over, I would get the eroll kit with a bunch of spare batteries and cartridges.

My first mod was an mvp and then the v2. They aren't bad at all. Just depends on style and size. Sooooooany to choose from.

I'd start off with a Vamo V5. I'd probably go for the Stainless steel option, even though they have sharp threads, they're good. The VV/VW option is nice, and it's built in protection is good. I'd probably pair it up with a good set of sony 30A 18650 batteries (30 amp). Even though the Vamo has a 5A limit, getting the batteries now will open the option if you want to go mechanical in the future or not. The nitecore battery charger is a godsend compared to el-cheapo chargers. They charge almost twice as fast, and can be used on a variety of batteries. For tanks, that is up to your comfort level. for beginning, I'd suggest a glass protank. Even though I do not own one yet, I have heard great things about them, and the glass option means you won't have to worry about what Ejuice you use with it as much. IF you want a beginning RBA, I suggest the AGA-T2. the setup on it is extremely flexible Again I would go with a glass tank.
IF you decide to go with the Protank, go ahead and get yourself a small single coil dripping atomizer to play around with as well. This will allow you to try out coils, settings, and juice.

All this advice is assuming you're switching from EGO batteries. Others suggest the Innokin, and they're great products, but for me, if you decide you want to go into something more advanced, the MVP will be put to the wayside, and all new prodcuts would be needed. But they are a good "go-to" device.

New to rda's and have a nimbus for my evic. Any tips on building a dual coil that will be 1-1.3 ohms? Flat or round wire? What kind of wick? Thanks in advance.

I believe the evic has an ampere limit on it. if that's the case, I recommend going single coil only, 1.8 ohm. for drippers, I always like organic cotton. my personal preference is 32 gague on my VV/VW device.

I'd get one but apparently the 18350 batteries don't work in it, so I'd need a new small battery and the tank it comes with is plastic and my juices would kill plastic in a heart beat...
