look i've never bought an RDA before but for the best part they really look about as complex as 3 screw a nut and washer so to suggest that on a physical level they are worth $40+ seems a little silly to me. I understand that you are fundamentally supporting the theft of intellectual properties by Chinese companies but when in come to the physical RDA there both SS and only one of the two have 100's of people saying it is of a decent quality (it would not surprise me if Fasttech deleted negative reviews, but they don't seem to). So yer I don't buy it that there is that much of a quality difference and I would be surprised if my clone did not at least function well, even if it had some medium quality threading honestly when it comes to cheap v expensive they both seem to have a similar failure rating in my life!
Also I really don't understand the disdain at the duplication of logo fraud v intellectual property theft is one really worse than the other? or are we irritated because we might get ripped off when trying to buy an Authentic item?
From all "that",,, I take it you have no knowledge or experience in Metallurgy, Design, or Machining.
As for Intellectual Theft, that exists with Everything and Everywhere on some level or another as rarely is Anything truly "All New" especially in the Vape Industry.
If $40 is all you can or are prepared to spend on your Stuff, cool for you and rock on. However, to say that those of us who can and do are Silly is,,, well, Silly and unfounded.
Also, just because an RDA, or anything for that matter, can be somehow financially justified as Adequate or Satisfactory does not factually equate to it being Quality or "good" by any means.
Again, to each his/her own. We all just sharing experiences and Intel here. Up to the individual to decide how that all fits with them personally and then decide which direction to take based on their own needs, desires, and limitations.
It's All Good.
P.s. You say you have never bought an RDA yourself (therefore have zero experience with them). That in and of itself speaks Volumes in regards to this Thread and the Discussion therein. Hopefully, the experiences and findings of those of us who actually have here and elsewhere on ECF will help you make an Informed and Intelligent decision when and if you ever do. Same as such did for me over 2 years ago when I decided I needed and wanted more form Vaping.
I also have spent many a Twenty during the first Stages of the Journey and although that investment yielded returns that were adequate in function, still finding myself and my situation lacking and wanting more & better. Just trying to possibly help someone else not repeat those cumulatively expensive and frustrating Lessons learned in route to where I am now.
Obviously you are free to choose for yourself and all the best to you.
