Hi I'm new to this so bare with me. I run a sigelei 150 with a billow. I just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on the best dual coil 24 or 26 gauge build I can make for flavor. Those are the only wires I have and I don't want to make any twist builds I just need to know the amount of wraps and size coil to use. Thanks a log

Hi S3edl3ss and welcome to the forum!

Don't know your experience, but since you said you are new to all of this, I have to ask a few questions. Have you read up on battery safety? Do you own an ohm meter? Are you familiar with ohms law, including Amps? What batteries do you have for your setup (Manufacuterer and model)?

If your experience in the above is low, then here's some studying I highly recommend you do before getting into building coils:

For info on batteries Baditude has several excellent blog posts on the subject. His blogs on battery safety are a must read before you venture into the world of sub-ohm vaping.

Reliable sources for batteries:
Batteries-Chargers-Flashlights-Only The Best
Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor
Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More!

Do not buy batteries from eBay or Amazon. Some of their third party sellers sell fakes.

... and finally, here's a link that explains things in pretty simple terms: Vaping Battery Safety & Ohms Law Illustrated and explained in very simple terms

Also, I would suggest starting out building single coils until you get the hang of things. I have built some duals myself, but for various reasons, actually prefer the single coils YMMV.

Be safe and Happy Vaping!

Hi, for my billow I make two 28 gauge 8 wrap micro coils which gives me about a .4. I vape that at around 20 watts and I'm pretty happy with that build. To make the micro coils I compress my coil with tweezers then I fire the coil with a butane torch for a few seconds, then I submerge in cool water. This gives me a perfect micro coil. Don't fire the coil too long or it can become brittle. Just a couple of seconds. You can Try this with your gauge wire and see if your happy with the results. I hope this helps out. It gives a tasty vape with loads of vapor. Hint, make sure both coils are firing at the same time. If their not, adjust them until they do. I adjust by squeezing the coil with tweezers after its heated. It works well for me. With the billow as with all dual coil builds, it's important for those coils to fire together. Best wishes ps. Know your batteries limit and use ohms law to insure you don't go over the batteries Amp limit!! Important, always practice safe vaping. If you don't like doing the math, there is a app called ohms law that will do the math for you.NEVER GO PAST THE LIMIT OF YOUR BATTERIES. vape safely . If .4 goes past the amp limit of your batteries, do NOT attempt to build that low.always be safe.
