I realize this is a subjective question, but I think I'm going to be moving back to cartos for travel; I like the tank system (and the clearomizers) but I just don't trust either to be in my bag when I'm flying and traveling a lot.

I have a few different cartos that I use on my EgoT battery, including some in 808 thread (I have the adapter). My fav cartos so far are from MyVaporStore, and they are 808 thread. I really don't like using an adapter (it's a PITA, sometimes it doesn't make good contact; I'm just basically, not a fan!), so I'd like to find good cartos that will natively fit the EgoT batteries.

I hate it when they taste burned; and I like my cartos to have plenty of capacity (if that helps select the "best" carto for me).

Anyway, any experiences/help would be appreciated. I'd like them to be blank, I prefer to fill my own carts.

Crystal Clear Vaping has a sale on them, 15 cartos for $20.

Joogler Juice has a special (I think it's still going on) cartos are $7.00 and you get a free bottle of juice with each pack.

I believe liberty flights is out. You can check LiteCigUSA, they usually have them.

If you can't find the boge, Ikenvape has great cartos.

Checked out the CCV site, and just have a quick question. There are 3 different types in there. The regular 510, the Mega Dual, and Clear Dual. I'm guessing the only difference in the Mega vs Clear dual is the color and capacity. The duals are 12 bucks more for the pack, but... is it worth it? Anyone with experience using both have any recommendation? Single coil LR good enough?

yes the clear ones have a clear casing and the mega dual coil have a metal black casing on it, i have the boges and like them real well, but just ordered some dual coil bcuz i have heard great things about them. pretty sure the clear and the mega hold the same amount of liquid tho someone who has tried both can give better insight.

I realize this is a subjective question, but I think I'm going to be moving back to cartos for travel; I ... so I'd like to find good cartos that will natively fit the EgoT batteries.

My first thought is not necessarily give up on the tanks. It's taken me some time but I've finally figured out some of the finagally bits of using them, and a few tanks with some favorite juices in a good needle-tip bottle (like the RCE3000 1/2 oz bottle) would travel pretty well. My EDC is a Ninentendo DS semi-hard case with an eGo PCC in it (thread and pic in the eGo forum). Mesh side pocket will hold a good six or eight loaded tanks, plus three batteries with tanks and a dropper bottle. Though I do put tanks in a Zip-Lock snack bag to guard against leaks, I haven't had any yet.

If you do happen to end up sticking with tanks and are using the cone-shaped (or, Type "A") atty, you might consider getting eGo-T Type "B" attys and tanks. They're cylindrical rather than cone-shaped and hold about 2.5ml vs. ~1.5ml.

But there are a couple of good eGo-specific cartos out there.

Most readily available are the eGo Cartomizers (sometimes called "eGo mega cartomizers"). Here's a good place to get them: https://www.cignot.com/product_p/ego-ct5-alb.htm. Each has a rubber cap for top and bottom. The hold quite a bit, taste good, vape well. There are a couple of ways to fill them, and getting them properly filled took some trial and error (I use a syringe and poke through a seal to the filler myself). Once filled they will last a while. I use them primarly for strong flavors so my attys don't constantly taste like coffee or bacon, for example, but they'd be good for travel.

Another more difficult to obtain option are the Echo-e cartomizers. Only two or three US dealers seem to get them. Several folks have reported good luck getting them from here: Echo-e Cartomizer | Cropduster901.com. I haven't used them yet but have four on order. The Echo-e is supposed to be a bottom-coil carto with removable fill material and a 3ml capacity. This should make it a maintainable carto and the large capacity should be great for travel.

Both cartos above are cylindrical rather than cone shaped which gives the eGo a more cigar-like appearance. But, both are "tipped" similar to but wider than the Type "A" tanks.

Some spare/extra 510 cartos are probably always a good idea, too. Boge seems to be the go-to for most folks. I like them but won't hesitate to try others when I can. Since you've already got a cone cover you'd be good in the looks department. Cignot (one of the links above) also carries eGo drip tips. Mine should arrive today but not sure when I'll have a chance to check it out.

Hope some of this helps!
