Best cartomizers?

Hi Peeps,

Im using a vivinova 3.5ml right now and apparently there is this tar smoke like taste after a while .
Probably the item is spoiled . Any household products or ways to get the coil ?
sim lim or something ?


On another note , What are your favourite cartomizers and why ?

Nothing in the household can build up a coil, that i know of.

maybe can try using nylon string ?

Vivi Nova heads can be rebuilt though you need to get silica wick and kanthal wire which is available from ebay and a quick search in youtube yields many results on how to rebuild.

Nova can be considered a noob's introduction to rebuild-ables.

And uh... please do not use nylon strings. Cotton and bamboo yarn, cotton bandage gauze. Ebay some Kanthal wire, 32AWG and Utube how to rebuild like what subliminal says. U be alrite, quite simple actually.

tried cotton and i dont know how people are raving over it. but i boiled and everything and i still got that funky cotton taste that spoils the juice!

since u have a damage head ...it's time for you to try A #400 stainless steel mash with 32 AWG wire... will last for months with low maintenance....very close to a DID rebuild.

Me ain't veteran enough to say whats the best out there, but i can certainly share what i enjoy thus far: cicso spec LR306 2.0ohms. Excellent flavor, smooth and superb vapor production..

Lol, I know what you mean. I've tried some kind of string that says "natural fibres only" its sort of brownish... gives the juice a somewhat saltish/ sourish/ old sock flavor.

The thing is this. If you get a dry burn with natural fibers, its like burning "kim jua" during seventh month, inhaling of choking smoke. If you get a dry burn using nylon, you get a mouth full of plastic taste.

no... it's just one of those mass produces, poor QC stuff. get a proper rebuildable.

You can actually rebuild a vivi nova coil head with a SS mesh combi so you still get the ease of use of a vivi nova and the quality of a SSmesh without the burnt smell.

Just google for "How to rebuild a ViVi Nova with a Stainless Steel Mesh Wick" and look for the tutorials

i plan to try this out myself once i get my hands on some kanthal wires and SS mesh

Maybe try it, bring your voltage lower, it may help, too high voltage will also get a burning smell and give a hard kick to your throat.
