Hello and Merry Christmas to all. I'm new to the forum and have some questions obviously. I just quit smoking 6 weeks ago after 23 years of tar and carcinogens. I thought I would cut back and vape half the time and smoke analogs half the time, but after a few days I didn't want to smoke at all. I'm so happy to be able to breathe and taste again, thanks to a Halo Triton kit, then an joyetech Evic and most recently a Vamo V3. I used a Vivi nova mini with a 2.8 ohm coil and it delivered a great warm vape but since the coil burned out am looking for something new.

What is the best clearomizer tank to buy for a nice warm, borderline hot vape? And what ohm coil would you use?

I find top coils to be warmer than bottom coils. Get a couple different coils and try them. They make them for the Vivi's in a 1.8 ohm I believe. That'd give a warmer vape.

Since you have VV/VW mods, you can dial up the heat, but if not using one I'd go with lower ohm coils say a 1.7 or 1.5 even, in whatever clearo you fancy. The cheapo Smoktech RBC clearos are pretty damn good for $5 clearos. Personally, I find some juices do better in cartos (I like the dual coil ones -more heating area) than clearos but you mileage may vary. I tend to vape around 7 to 8 watts. For me, 8 gets a little "sizzely" for some juices and they start to fry.

Below is a link to a pretty spiffy wattage chart. If you are just using a VV mod without VW, or even a plan old eGo, you can ball park it off the amps of the coil and volts. More wattage = more heat.
