I recently visited a vape shop that tried to disparage me from using my mini nova because it is so 3 years ago...

So I ask what is the it tank that looks nice on an Ego T, I taste vv that works or performs better than my mini novas do now? I'm not looking for a dripper.

I want a tank that is easy to carry, minimal fuss, can have a a rebuildable wick, and doesn't look huge or awkward on a smaller battery like the iclear30s or Nataulus.

I have gone through the Ce4, Stardust, and other similar tanks and have seen tons of problems with the Protanks so for someone looking for a new clearomizer what would you recommend?

Sorry I messed up the title a bit, my mini novas are 2.5 ml I'm looking for something the same shape and size. A friend gave me an evod and to be honest I didn't like it much.

I just don't want something as fat as the full sized 3.5 nov as or the I clear. I need something in line with the mini nova or Evod, but with the ease of use, same vapor and better taste.

Flavor and vapor? The Kanger mini's work very well. Pt2, PT3, And the new mini Mega. Easy to use and not as bad as some say once you spend the time to understand them.

There is another very good tank you should not overlook...Ibtanked 15mm cartomizers. They come in 3 lengths and perform real well.

They can also be custom built for your color preference to match your PV and they are a family run operation.....Great folks!

The Kanger Protank 2 mini are very close to the same size as the vivi, but are ego threaded. I have both. And u can use the vivi drip tips on them if u wish.
Coils are easy to swap out.

Protank 2 Mini would be perfect, check them out on google, nice size and mine work great.

Possibly an iclear16 would also meet your needs, or an EVOD mini.

I have two Protank mini IIs and love em both!

getting tired of the ego c batteries......... don't last long enough, gots to go bigger power source....

You might be pleasantly surprised moving from a top coil clearo to a bottom coil model (no tilt-and-swish!), and the PT2 is a popular choice.

You might want to check out the Davide Mini, which is similar to the PT2 (it uses the same replacement coils), but seems to have fewer QC issues. I've had a couple Davides which were totally trouble-free, and provided a pretty decent vape.

I've been using protanks since they first came out and probably wouldn't switch to a different style atty anytime soon. The protank heads fit several kinds of attys like the protank1, protank2(2.5mls), protank mini1 & 2(1.6 mls), evods(1.6mls), Sigelei puritank(4mls) and the anyvape davide(4 or 5 mls..not sure). With a simple fix you can use protank heads in the T3, T3s(2.4mls). You can streamline your vape gear by using 1 style of coil and have several choices of liquid sizes to work with, unlike the CE clearos in which its very easy to get the wrong heads cause there are so many different kinds.
The real con is that kanger heads are hit and miss with more miss than hit. You have to learn some basic DIY with those heads to make them perform like champs or rebuild them like most do and rave about how great they are.
My protanks are coming on 8 months old and still going strong and the heads I have are almost the same age with rebuilding them dozens of times. I did buy some insulators from a 3rd party cause its easy to cook a insulator or rip it in half as your removing it from the head piece.

Thanks for the tips guys.

I went shopping around for tanks today and still didn't find something that quite fit what I was looking for. Maybe I'm just set in my ways or too many tanks have the same style and issues I saw previously, but I opened up, looked at, and sampled many clearomizers today, and it seems that if I really want an upgrade I need to move to bigger tanks which in turn means I need to switch batteries because they are just to big on top of my I taste vv.

Since you like vivi novas, try the aspire vivi nova with their BDC. I got some in a co-op, finally got around to trying them, and they are wonderfull :)

I still use vivi nova's as well, but the vape from the BDC setup is much nicer. Bonus is that the tanks are the same, so if you have some metal tanks you can swap. Also, if you drop and smash your aspire tank  you can use one from the original vivi novas.

Have a look at a MVP since u like Itaste it's a lot smaller in person then I thought which is why I bought it, and it's my second favorite device. The shine comes in some really nice looks.....

Best of luck Kagey.
