Have to agree. The T2 is still my favorite. I can't find anything that can beat it and I've tried a lot.
Everything seems to be going to bottom coil. Too cool, too airy or too tight, lacking in flavor, vapor output, coil longevity, capacity.

The T2 is easy to fill, has good capacity and the best mix of warmth, flavor, vapor output and durability I can find. I like to change up flavors and they are cheap enough I can have 5-6 different flavors lined up.

They are not perfect but pretty close to it. They will leak some but it is usually something I did to make them leak like overfilling...

Getting harder to find though. Not as many places stocking them or they always seem to be out of stock.

I know. I just found some at Sure Vapes. Long wick version too. Got 5 tanks and 5 extra heads for $26 shipped. Think I am gonna go ahead and pick up 5 more. I have a feeling these may be discontinued soon. Everyone seems to want bottom coil.

how about a list of the junk tanks? what not to buy?

Eh, that's what I was alluding to. An EVOD is a good buy. A must buy. Even when you have your plethora of mechs and vv/vw reg mods down the road, you still need those ego style spinners with tanks that look at home in your car/on the go, and are no fuss/rebuildable if you want to. EVOD is not a junk tank. You can spend 200 times the price of an EVOD and still get 'junk' polycarbonate materials inside...and I'm not saying those things are bad. I'm saying, its more arguable WHAT you put in the tank that is probably the problem.

I don't think there is any way to know what is 'safe'. If something is eating away the plastic in your tank...it is clearly caustic and you should vape it at your own risk? The only risk in vaping at that point is cost. High-end RBA's are about 50/50 on the poly vs pyrex based on design and cost magnitudes more than an EVOD and require way more familiarity. There are unknowns there as well regarding finishes and base metals and residuals.

EVOD is solid recommendation. Heavy cinnamons/menthols/super-citruses unrecommended juices regardless of tank and at-own-risk.

Edit: And for comparison I would recommend an EVOD over a PT/PT2 to anybody getting into vaping. EVOD is simply better...and cheaper...and uses same heads. The only risk is the risk you are taking with vaping any liquid from any vendor.

"Will it break eventually if I put a tank-cranker in it? Cause, that concerns my hypothetical 6 dollar investment more deeply than the fact that I intend to vape something that eats through plastic on the regular...I don't wanna buy some junk afterall..."

Your lungs will appreciate your consideration I am sure...

I'm very happy with T2's myself and share that concern. I saw that Fasttech put up a variety of T2 coils recently, and might need to order some, wait a month (based on my current order!) and find out if they are worth a damn.

How much were the heads through Fastech? I paid $6.25 for a 5 pack of authentic Kanger heads.

Got to agree with the T2's mentioned.
I've spent an undogly amount on this clearo, that clearo, the Other clearo, bought a $h%t-ton of kayfuns & such... only to forever come back to my trusty Halo Tritons with their T2-style toppers.
The flavor, warmth, vapor production & ease of use is unparalleled in my experience.
(anybody wanna buy an iTaste SVD, iTaste 134 and a few kayfun clones, protanks, iclear30's, iclear30S's, aspire bdc's, aspire ET-S's, davide bdc's, V-fates... and on and on the list goes....?)... no - seriously - Anybody???

*edit*
just saw these on sale if yer lookin for T2's ($3.95):

I have to say, I am somewhat of a noob, but I am really impressed with the performance of my iclear 16 dual-top coils. Better than cartos I have tried, and much better than the single coil i16. Currently awaiting the arrival of an MVP2 with an iclear 30, and will be giving that a whirl. Will also most likely snag the i30s and the x.1 on my next trip to the local vape shoppe. Seems I'm Turning into a bit of an Innokin fanboy... Uh oh.
