so i'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my rev3 (ego v6) and i saw a picture with a clearomizer on it and thought it flowed really well and looked very nice.
I'm very inexperienced with clearomizers and tanks so bear with me..
1) What is the absolute best clearomizer or similar product out there?
2) what are that products BIGGEST drawbacks?
3) will i be able to fill/refill without a syringe (can't have one in my current situation)?
4) how does the vapor, taste, th, and longevity compare to cartomizers and atomizers?

I still love the CE4+ "Stardust" clearomizers because I've almost always had good luck with them. They're easy to fill, don't leak, and I have two of them that are still working from March... I bought two new fresh ones that I'm using now though just because they're only $5 a piece anyways and I had to order juice/new battery at the time anyways.
A lot of people happen to like the phoenix clearos but they require a syringe to fill and I'm all about simplicity. :p I don't want to carry a needle around with me.

I bought my first pack of clearomizers last week. I went with the Phoenix^^ bottom coils. They take a while to get used to how to use them well at first, because they do not wick very well. However, I quickly learned that if I blow in and out to get the air bubbles flowing (signifying the wick getting wet) that I can avoid dry hits that way.
Once I learned how to avoid dry hits, I fell in love. I loved the flavor and the vapor production is GREAT.
ALTHOUGH, I've been running them for about a week, and I'm already growing increasingly skeptical. I actually threw out the first one I opened (and used the most) last night, because I was getting incredibly weak hits and the flavor was off (hits that can be compared to hits on a low battery). Just a massive decrease in performance. I'm going to take the second most-used one tonight and try and clean it out to see if that boosts performance at all.
I think the fact that the juice is constantly just sitting in there (virtually unavoidable unless you clean it every single day) is causing problems. I'm seeing a lot of build up beginning to settle at the bottom of the tube, even after i refill with fresh juice. the non-leaking relies on an air vaccuum, so shaking the carto does virtually nothing.
In closing, my experience with these thus far has not been anything to write home about. Like most hardware, once you get past the learning curve, the first impression is fantastic, but frustration quickly begins to mount by around the third day. If you'd like I can report back after I experiment with cleaning.

Best is a very broad term as what's best for me, may not be best for you and vice versa.
Some ppl are willing to sacrifice something to gain a benefit in another department to meet their personal preference.

For me, the best flavor are the bottom coil CE3's by betterlifetech and the Kanger T3's
Favorite top coil, Kanger T2.

You can search the clearo section and get all kinds of opinions.
Once you find a few devices that you are interested in, I would suggest to buy one of each and give them a go.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Good luck
