There are a bunch and everyone is going to say their favorite. I like the Troll, best is subjective.
I like my Mutation X V3. You can't beat $30 range for an authentic rda. You can also get a authentic cuff cap that is made for it and/or a glass top cap for it. I certainly can't say it it the best, but it works great for me and it makes clouds for days with the right build.

The troll, mutation and dark horse are at the top of the ratings right now for clouds, I'm quit fond of the nucleus myself. I've never seen a dripper spit out clouds so effortlessly at low power. I can only imagine how it would act at high power.
I have a darkhorse with the chuff on it and it chucks clouds!!! I also have a freak show and a turbo, they are both pretty nice too. But the dark horse is easy to build on and has good airflow.

I know this is an old thread (2 months) but i love the Mutation X RDA's, i have v1, v2, and the v4 and they last forever and work for chain vaping and multiple ways to open or close the air slots. Also i heard the Plume Veil is top notch but i have the clone version and its probably the last RDA i'd pick up to use, not a bad clone but to me not airy enough.

could be a while yet lmfao, i also ordered a magma clone. Anyway it is the v1 and its also the first rda ill ever have. What kind of coil build do you use??? im going to be using it on an istick 50w.
Oh man go cancel your order for the Mutation X v1, the authentic version is only $15 - $20 max, thats why Mutation X's are so great, they're affordable! Also the Magma i have from fasttech, not to bad of a clone, good purchase! For my Mutation X's i do a parallel dual 28 gauge coils using kanthal A1 wire and each coil is a macro coil wrapped 4 times on the mini screwdriver that came with my Mutation Xs. Vape it at about 40-50 watts, i believe it comes out to 0.5 - 0.6 build.Im waiting on my mutation x clone to arrive from fast tech

My mutation x is already on its way lol. Thats ok id rather go the cheaper route in the beginning as im not sure if RDA is going to be for me or not. i only paid 9.00 for the clone so if i end up loving it ill probably upgrade to an authentic newer version later on. i order some 28 and 26 gauge kanthal so i should be able to build that style coil.... you get good clouds with it???
I get decent / big clouds with it, personally when i want to go big big, i choose 24 gauge 5 wrap macro dual build and bump my Sigeli 150 Box Mod to 80-90 watts and it chucks!! It usually puts my build at 0.2 ohms but i have to completely open all air holes or it gets hot! My ejuice will literally disappear lol I went through 30 ml in less then a day.
Nice lol... Well I currently only have a istick 50w so im a bit limited to what i can build with it... Honestly .5-.7 is what i was looking to achive with it and hope to get better clouds/flavor then my atlantis tank.
Oh and i did the same thing as you, i bought an IGO-W clone believe it or not for $8.00... had no idea the authentic was $15 lol but it was my first RDA and i lived with it for about a month until dripping became more of a hobby vs. trying to stop smoking. Vaping keeps you off cigarettes, keeps you healthier and gives you something to do and spend your money on!!

Atlantis is a nice tank, i have the v1 and the Delta II but i just don't get the same happiness with tanks that i do with dripping and building coils. Definitely try the dual parallel builds or even 24 gauge 8 wraps should get you around 0.7 - 0.4 ohms but crank up time might take a second with 50 watts.
I like the CE4... lots of clouds at 90W along with loads of formaldehyde

I'd have to second the Doge x2 or any mutation thus far. Both brands in all the different versions fogs a room if built and wicked right with higher VG juices(60vg and above)
But really it will boil down to your tastes, like many said there are a gazillion out there. Anything that says "competition" lol will probably do the trick.

im a fan of the mutation as well, been running one for a while now and haven't had any problems with it
