I started with Johnson Creek's Espresso, it wasn't bad... not great, and became less wonderful as my tastes expanded over time.
I recently tried Mt. Baker's Coffee, just listed as "coffee" on the label and while I am a big fan of some of their other liquids, this one isn't doing it for me. I'm letting it steep some more, but right now, it's more of a coffee candy flavor, without the sweetness, if that makes any sense. Coffee candies are (at least to me) reminiscent of the taste of coffee, but they don't really taste like coffee. Take away the candy-ness and it's even less coffee-like.
I am thinking that part of the problem is that a good cup of coffee (regardless of the brew, either a french press, pour over or a properly pulled espresso) has so many complex flavors that are all so "active" in your mouth and sinuses that blending or mixing a flavor that is atomizer still remains one of the vaping communities "holy grails" (others being a menthol or a dark chocolate that everyone can agree is excellent).
I see threads like this and my shopping/sampling list grows. I know that what one member likes or even adores may not be the right thing for someone else's taste. I continue to search for my "best coffee" and settle for the Johnson's Creek in the meantime.
