I've been using kr808 batteries with some cartos for a while. This is a somewhat simple set up. I decided to go ahead and buy a Titanium e-power this morning when I received some unexpected cash recently. I've only been vaping maybe 6 weeks.

All of you veterans e-power users can you recommend to me the best set up and let me know what combinations I can use the device with?

Can I use it with a sapphire tank? What about the other cartomizers and stuff I see advertised on the Got Vapes site?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't had them long enough to be a veteran, but, I use VISION on all my ePower's. . .looks like ...., but it vapes really well for me. I need: someone to make up CONES for using VISION on ALL the ePower's. I need: someone to swap me a satin, (brushed aluminum, Stainless, or Platinum), for this beautiful Chrome 18650 ePower I've got, new and in the box. I won't even touch it. I hate shinny PV's. But, for somebody it's gotta be the Cat's Meow. JMHO

Wait for the Variable Voltage ego back in stock, the epower is not a very good solution, its just a simple unregulated mod. No different then eGo just with larger battery.

If you really want to enjoy the Sapphire (2.5Ohm) or the vision (3.0Ohm) get the VV eGo and crank the voltage to 4.2.

I have tested both the spahire and the Vision on regular eGo and regular mod (4.2V and then drops to 3.2V) and its not very fun expirince.
You will have MUCH more fun with the VV eGo on 4.2V

If your getting the epower, use low resistance atties and carts

IMO

Do the sapphire tank or the C-E2 Cartomizer fit the 18650 epower? The site says it need a extension for the MEGA SmartCart atomizers and the GotVapes MaXimizer but I am not sure about anything else. Sorry new to all of this and trying to determine what I want to get. Also if someone woul dbe so kind, what extender are they talking about? thanks all

everything else fits, and we will have mini extensions in a a few days, the extender is a peace that has the same connection as the battery but lenthens it so certain cartomizers can fit on them becuase if the sleeve they are incased in like the giantomizer, but you can use a vision on the 18650 without the need for a extender since the connection on the vision protrude like any other atomizer.

take your time, but if your new to this and looking for a good setup then let us know so we can suggest some things to you. The epower is a great device but if your new your first set up could be better off with a myriad of choices so you dont need to worry about extenders and such while your still learning.

I haven't used my good ol' epower in a while but today I slapped a vision 2.0 on it and it is a match made in heaven. I like the look better than with the ego. For whatever reason the proportions just look right with the e power. If there was an epower cone designed for the vision I would be of my rocker!

Look at this picture and tell me these two weren't meant for each other.

The epower Does have a sort of regulation even though it isn't true regulated. It WILL start at 4.2 and drop to 3.7 and stay around there. The ego IS regulated to 3.2v. The epower will deliver a nice consistent vape with a little more punch than an ego. I think the 3 stage variable ego is a good device too, but I think some of your statements were just not correct.

Also the vision works just great on an ego, epower, or 4.2-4.5v. It really depends on the person vaping it. I was vaping with it at 4.4ish volts and it performs outstanding, but I wouldn't like it there all the time. On the epower it's a little less intense which is much better for my all day vaping pleasure. Same with the ego.

You have to take the battery life into account as well. The variable ego is a 650mah battery which can't compete with my 1300mah 14650 epower, or my 1000mah ego, and running it at 4.2v will drain it even quicker. So there is a little more to consider before you say 1 is a hands down winner.

Far as I'm concerned the damned thing needs a skirt. Not nice to go out in public with your threads a showin. JMHO
