Ok, it's the first I've heard of sapphires and fluomizers! I gotta get out more!! I have 2 slowest on the way, a small one and a really big one!! Can't wait, but now I have to research the above. I presently use steel dcc's.
Thanks everyone. When I have some time over the weekend, I'm going to try and play again with the fluxos I have left to see if I can't get them to work right. Meanwhile, I have a sapphire on order. Do sapphires come with two in the pack or just one? I know I read something about two in a pack but that might just be the little filling do-hickys?
Hey jbank - IMO the most important post, among many good ones (special mention to #16 from haft) is Danno's (#15) - Bad convinced me to go with the ce2s and his YouTube channel is still invaluable for newbies to the fluxos - look it up, subscribe and watch every vid he has on fluxos (dry burning, cleaning, modding, etc.) - I love these suckers and just keep buying 'em - 2.6 & 2.8 work great at 3.7v for me - 3.6 @ 6v and I'm trying to figure out how to turn off the smoke detectors - granted the early tubes were prone to cracking and leaking (steels don't leak) but all my clear fluxo tubes have been changed out with BD syringe tubes (any drugstore, 20, 30 cents apiece, cut to length with a cheap, small pipe cutter, perfect cut - will never crack or leak) - sounds like the newest versions have solved this problem and are the ones you might have - either way, don't give up on these and a big thanks to GotVapes for keeping it cutting edge
