I'm after more flavor in a tank. The best low cost tank I've vaped is the Evod TS3. There's a noticeable difference in flavor between it and the original Protank. My zero point reference is the SmokTech Mega SS carto.

The are all great the first day or so and then the coil tends to coat and the great flavor dies. Rebuilding the coils is a little of a pain, but I do that to subsidize the cost of just buying a new 5 pack. I find that it's not so much a pain if I sit in front of the TV and do it in mass production mode.

I like the thick pyrex glass on the Protank. I'm done with plastic and polycarbonate (which is still plastic). My original Protank with the Pyrex glass has dropped a number of times on concrete with no cracks, although you can see dings and scratches on the metal ends. I guess the thickness of the metal caps prevents direct contact between the glass and the concrete. You can't even find a chip on the pyrex.

If I changed the head every morning on the Protank, it would be my favorite tank for flavor and vapor. The Evod TS3 seems to hold flavor longer on a head. That's kind of strange since the heads are very similar.

i use protank 3 on my vamo and protank 2 on my ego-c twist. started with CE5 tanks went to evods then the protanks. but its all trial and error until you find what works best for you. my wife is ticked off i keep giving away my old evod and ce5 tanks. my vamo and protank 3 have hit tile floor and pavement more than i care to think about and still works great. only damage is my first vamo comes apart now at its mid point where its press fit together. and the protank removable tips are nice if you have alot of different flavors and a tank for each flavor, just use a different tip for each one. that is if your local shops dont have the colored glass.

kafun lite is the daily of course

After watching the Kayfun build video it looks like a good tank, but with a learning curve. I think I could do the build in much less time than the Madvapes training video, anyway. It looks like a 5 minute job once you get used to the process. Is the Kayfun really that much better on taste and flavor than a Protank or any other commercial tank?

The video is here. The first one shows a build with silica wick and the second one is with a cotton wick.

I am trying to like my new AeroTank but I am having lots of problems with it. I am very new to this so I am probable doing something wrong on my end, but the thing puts out a really bad taste. Using the same juice in my iclear 16 and it tastes completely different. I have washed the AeroTank out many times but I just can not seem to get rid of that taste. I am also getting a lot of gurgling and leaking.

Fasttech's description says dripping atomizer, which would be why I hadn't looked more closely before, but your description says it holds 5.5 ml, so it's really a tank ?

And it's a bottom coil also?

I consider the Flashi to be a rba/rda. Since it cam be used in both modes. Also could be called a Dripper Tank

EHPro Flash RDA Kit

For a better description than fasttech.

Found the EHPro Flash clone cheaper at RTDVapor. The EHPRO clone is a good choice. Here is the Authentic flashi web site Flash-e-Vapor V2 - Der original Flash e Vapor V2 Shop

vid their too. Has a double wicking system, 2 wicks to deliver the juice to the dripping chamber, then the coil and wick that is in the dripping atomization chamber. Vapes Fantastic no matter what ohm build you prefer. Have had build from .7-1.8 ohms, and they are all great.
