Where do you buy your organic cotton pads? I'm looking for the best deal I can find, that won't take weeks to get here. Must be organic and preferably pads instead of balls (I'd prefer the fibers to run in the same direction). Supposedly Japanese cotton wicks faster, which I would rather have, but every Japanese source I've found says it'll take up to a month to arrive, with no tracking. I'd rather know exactly when it's coming and not take forever, since I bounce between two houses right now. I'm also dead broke, so the less expensive the better! Thanks. :)

I know it's not what your looking for, but I picked up a bag of cotton balls at the local pharmacy...works just as good as my cotton bacon and Japanese pads...If you're broke, 2 buck will last you a LONG time.

just my two cents.

good luck!
You find they wick just as efficiently as pads or bacon? If so, I probably will just go with those.

Also, FYI, I've never built or wicked before, I'm trying to make a big purchase of everything I need right now.

To be honest, the japanese cotton does wick better, but the taste is identical, and the wicks from cotton balls also seem to last a bit longer. The ones from the cotton pads are faster to break in. It's kind of a trade-off. If you use high-PG, the cotton balls work (and wick) very well, but if your juice is high-VG (50% or more VG) then the cotton pads would wick a great deal better. I find that the Shiseido brand works better for me than KGD, and I think it's also a bit less costly. You use such a small amount for wicking, whatever you get will last a long time. Just google "shiseido" and you'll see a lot of resources.

Sheseido can be purchased in any Macy's, Lord and Taylor or Sephora, saw it on the shelf in every store in my local mall (cosmetics counter), never used it, some people swear by it. I got 80 pads of KGD off eBay for 14.00, arrived in a week. I am really liking Cotton Bacon however, so easy to use, wicks great and there's 10 huge strips in a bag. For about 6.00 a bag there's easily 120 plus wicks in a bag.

Is cotton bacon organic? I've been confused as to what the difference is between them and normal cosmetic pads, tbh.

yup...I can't tell a difference. I use them for everything from sub-ohm, to my 2.5 ohm coils. all kinds of pg/vg ratios too.

I find the cotton balls easier to wick too, they're more malleable.

I actually couldn't tell you. The manufactures website describes it as clean traceable cotton with no pesticides, chemicals or oils, made by vapers for vapers....

Ready to use right out of the bag. I absolutely taste no cotton out of the bag. Just my juice....
