Honestly any dripper will do. Just depends on your coils. What are you looking for? Flavor? Vapor production? A friends of mine has the subox and I just gave her my old Magma RDA clone cos she wanted the same thing. Shes a flavor junkie so thats why I gave her that. You want something easy to build on, nice wide deck, 2 or 3 post will do. You can try the velocity, mine is so simple to build on and its the best 2 post atty imho. Great on flavor and vapor. Just remember that your device can only fire .3 and above.

I guess you could call me a flavor chaser. I've watched a few videos on YouTube and looked up rdas that I thought would work best. I've looked into the mutation x v4, tugboat, and a few others. I really liked the reviews I've read about the velocity. But I can't see justifying buying an addy that costs more that my kbox haha. I know buying clones is kind of looked down upon by the members here. But the ones I've seen are under $20. So I guess, is there any specific reason I shouldn't buy the velocity clone?

It's not a bad idea to save some cash and buy the clone to get your feet wet and see if you like dripping without spending a lot of money.

Use extreme caution when screwing down a non-ST Mini tank or RDA on the Kbox Mini - the fixed 510 can be pushed down, causing a host of issues (e.g. broken ground wire resulting in a short). If you feel any resistance while inserting the atty don't force it.

I bought a white Subox kit for travel and liked it so much I bought a black version. The 510 pin in my 2nd Kbox must have been set too high - the first time I screwed the supplied tank on I pushed the pin into the insulator. Have never even tried to attach a non-ST Mini. No shorts as of yet, but the resistance jumps around occasionally; I suspect it's due to the pin.

The ideal solution is to only pair it with the ST Mini and use a spring-loaded mod in order to use RDAs. If that's your only mod just be very careful.

I'd agree with Eekins about the Velocity. Probably my favorite RDA ATM. You can get the Tobeco version for less than $20 (C&D version is pricey). Crappy o-rings in the cheaper versions but great bang for the buck.

Ok, that was an easy decision thanks for the help. Looks like I'll go with the velocity clone. And yes this is my only mod. I don't have a lot of money for anything too expensive and if I do get another mod I'd like it to be TC. Which from what ice seen, they seem to be a bit pricey. Any suggestions for a somewhat inexpensive TC mod?

I have the eVic VTC Mini on the way, that's only $50 (mod only). I've only used it a few times but I was impressed by the features & size for the price. The iPV D2 is another fairly priced TC mod (around $50), as is the iStick 40w TC (<$30). I haven't used the iStick TC yet, but all seem to have average reliability and features.

Looks great as well, Pete! Good choice. I think you'll really like the Velocity.
The Velocity is my favorite also. It is great for flavor and vapor. You asked about an Inexpensive TC mod to consider. I can highly recommend the Koopor Mini. It is a fine little mod and if you shop around they can be found for around $39. It has a USB port for future firmware upgrade which is a great feature to ensure it can stay current as TC evolves in the future. I have had one for a couple of weeks and I really like it. I can also highly recommend the original Evic VT that has dropped in price since the Evic Mini has come out. The original Evic VT has a great 5000 mah internal LiPo battery with which you can vape all day without running out of power- a really nice feature. Just plug in a mini USB and charge it up while you sleep. These bodies are now around for $42 or thereabout.
The Evic Mini looks interesting also but you will also need to buy several 18650 batteries if you want to get through a full day and of course you need a charger. The mini does have a port for firmware upgrades that is also a plus. Lots of choices but any of those I mention would serve you well. TC is great once you learn the ins and outs of operating in that mode. No burnt hits is very nice.

Thanks for the reply. I wish it were sooner because I ended up purchasing the snow wolf. I was debating between a few and I think I made the right choice. Only thing I'm worried about I guess is the fact that it doesn't have a titanium wire setting. Which From what I've read all I have to do is lower the temperature and I'll be ok.
