I've been using the Odins for awhile now and the Derringer is awesome for flavor. Then again when you open it all the way up still delivers the clouds. Great atty all around.

I've been watching this thread because I use my rda almost exclusively for trying/testing new flavors.
My Mephisto isn't bad, but not great.
If any of you were going to use your rda for testing/tasting only, would you cut your wicks just to the end of the coil?
I also would like to find one that I can drip directly on the coil from the drip tip instead of taking it apart.
BTW, I don't mean to highjack this thread, I've been checking a lot of the suggestions made here.

Its an rdTa but I love my big dripper for flavor chasing. Single parallel .3 ohm coil. Go to device when I'm out and about.

They never see any use anymore since I purchased a Derringer.

I now have 4 Derringers that get daily use.

I vape with a focus on flavor and use mechs exclusively. I vape loosely compressed twisted 3 strand 30 or 4 strand 32 gauge kanthal from a .5 (my very lowest) to a 1 ohm single coil in the Derringer. With most eliquid .7 is my personal sweet spot. I use a 2.5 or 3 mm id coil for my Derringers. I have no problems with overheating.

The Viking for me produces the best flavor followed by the Veritas and the Atomic. The only issue I have with the Atomic is the small deck but it's perfect on a Squonker.
