There is no wick in a 510 style you drip directly on the heating element, that is the "bridge" there is a small piece of mesh or just a coil "bridgeless"
If you overdrip they leak, and you only get 2-4 hits. It takes a bit to get the hang of them, these are the very first atomizers.
Back then all we had was carto's, and the warning was just to make sure you understood there was a little attention needed to use them, also to not mess up your battery - 1.5 ohms was considered very low and many batteries couldn't handle them lol
