Can you guys help me find the best ecig for refilling instead of buying new cartomizers/cartridges constantly. I'm using an njoy npro duo, I really enjoy it but it's too expensive to buy new carts all the time and refilling them just isn't working very well. They tend to burn the wicking and filler material a lot. So if anyone could tell me what some of the best design/model are for refilling I would greatly appreciate it. Also if anyone could tell me the best canadian supplier for which model they are proposing I would be happy to hear that as well. Thanks a bunch

The 510, 901 or 801 seem best to me, they have a decent sized cart that lasts MUCH longer thatn the Npro. I always hated that small inner cartridge the Npro, M401, and Joye 306 (janty mini fogger) have. You could always remove that inner cart and stick a knife in the end of your Npro cart and twist it back and forth until you scrape the end off creating a homemade drip tip :) I find those models that have that cart design work best this way.

Good luck!

Neon.

well the thing is i have the new model that is nothing like the original npro, its called the duo. It holds about 300 puffs worth of juice but the inner material burns up fairly easily which is obviously quite gross. I just wanna know if something like a 510 won't burn up because that is the only part about the duo that i don't like. In fact njoy just sent me a few free extra batteries because i complained about this issue.

You are vaping your cart to dry, hence the burning of the material.

A 510 runs even hotter than that and until you learn when you need to top off, you will be burning the batting. Don't fret it will come. Try topping off after 10 cigs worth for now (150 puffs). That should keep the atty moist and prevent the batting from burning.

Just drip brother!! Toss all that batting filler and drip a couple drops directly on the atomizer. Just remember to drip 2 more whenever it starts to lose flavor because you'll eventually get another burnt taste.

But since I switched to dripping, I never get that bad taste.

Standard carts don't work well for most people (myself included) so that's why some try modding the carts with different filler types/sizes. Ultimately I think dripping is the best tasting vape experience.

The Njoy duo is a cartomizer based e-cig. I am not sure if it's an RN4081 with a cartomizer or if it's a different brand. If it is a RN4081 battery you could try getting an atomizer and some blank carts. They have the inner cartridge but much bigger than the M401 carts. Easy to drip into. The M601/602 carts are similar and I find that both of these give a longer time between refills than a 510. That said refilling is still something you would be doing quite often. Inked's advice above is good...learn to drip! Once you try a drip tip you may never go back to carts.

Well rob, I just ordered the black ego with drip tip and some good lookin camel juice from you yesterday so I'm hoping that'll solve my problems. Oh I also got the LR atty which will be nice.

To answer your questions, with my duo a fresh cartomizer would last pretty much all day just re-filling late at night. But you can really only refill them once, no matter how you clean, don't burn, etc. They are just truly not meant to be re-used. Even when I blew all of the original juice out of one and filled it up constantly with the orange creamsicle 26 mg at the end of the day it still had little holes going through the filler.

Now what I need to know from you guys is how to I get the best out my joye ego I just ordered from evapers? I've got the drip tip, lr atty, and some tasty juice so help me get the most out of this.

Rob, one more question. How long does it usually take to ship if I ordered yesterday? I'm going crazy over here since I ran out of cartomizers faster than I thought and I've gotta go to work in a few hours which is basically an analog smokers convention.

Your good to go, keep the LR atty very wet so it doesn't dry out. Use the cone, its amazing. When dripping dont get frustrated if/when you swallow juice. Your gunna get juice in your mouth untill you get used to dripping. But once you get the hang of it that won't happen anymore. dripping is 10x better the filling carts imo.

thanks freeflow you basically just summed up all the good things I've been hearing about the ego into one. Oh an trust me I won't get frustrated getting juice in my mouth every single cartomizer from njoy except for two were overfilled, and took some heavy dabbing with a cloth to get to a point where I could puff without drinking the stuff.
Thanks though, now I just need this darn thing in my hands so I can avoid the analog convention that is my work. Worst part is they all smoke the same smokes I used to, because I got them hooked on my old brand argghhhh.

Hi Showme,

Shipping would depend on where you live. We ship out of Ontario, so Toronto area is 1 day, rural is about 2 days. Other end of the country, Vancouver or Newfoundland are 3 days. That should give you an idea. So I'm not stealing this thread with information about my company, I'll say the same holds true for any of the other suppliers shipping Canada Post.

For advice, as free flow says, keep it wet. I’m getting a feeling that you are going as long as you possibly can between refills. Your cartomizer lasting all day as an example. What I would recommend there as an example is try using 2 cartomizers a day, see if that increases the lifespan of your PV’s.

With dripping you are going to have to be better acquainted with your bottle of e-juice ;) Filling more often might seem like a pain, but you get used to it, and the increased vapor and atomizer life is well worth it. With the eGO and carts, I will fill my cart before a smoke break every time. Enough in the cart to make it look like a slushy and 2-3 drops down the atomizer. IF you hand isn’t getting wet, then don’t worry you aren’t using too much juice.

kk thanks rob, I'm just in a panic without my pv so im dying to get the ego. I can hold out till monday but my unopened packs from europe are looking all too tempting right now haha. Yea I've noticed the last few days with my npro that i've been getting good stretches and bad ones, it just seems to be wasting most of the juice i put in it so I'm switching to something i can drip into rather than relying on filling up wasteful cartomizers. The battery life is a big thing too, the life of an npro is only about an hour and a half or two hours.
