Anyone know of a good kit for a beginner (friend of mine)? He is really interested in quitting cigs and migrating to e cigs. He is okay with spending 80 dollars with shipping included. Any good deals out there in that price range?

He could always start out a bit more generic than a mod as well by using an eGo Twist or a Vision spinner. It's the way my wife and I got off cigs. It's a relatively cheap investment and an easy break-in with all the gagdetry. That said, once he realized the money saved from not smoking, he'll probably upgrade to a mod for an even better (or more consistenct) vape. That's what we are going through now, trying to wade our way through all the options.
agree ive only been vapeing for a week and I started on a twin ego starter kit which was cheap enough, I got two 650 batterys and 2 ce5 clearomizers, charger and free e liquid. ive been loveing them so much now that just after a week im going to get that vamo v3 very soon hopefully. it depends what hes into, does he like to tinkle with things etc. I love too thats whyi want vv/vw and bigger batterys lol.
if hes looking to start off egos arnt bad and are really cheap, unsure about $ but in the uk I seen them for £30-£40 and thats for two egos. the vamo v3 is more towards experienced vapours looking to do more but it is great value at that price I think.

find a good local B&M store and let him try several flavors. once he finds the flavor that rings the bell the rest will be easy. I do agree that a VV battery is a must have. Stick an evod on top and call it good. it will work great. It will not leak all over him. it is easy to fill and vapes like a champ.... I am sure you can do that hook up for 80 bucks...
