I searched a bit looking for VV/VW batteries that are like a pen. In fasttech i couldn't find any VW, only VV.

And here is one that seems interesting:

Being the maximum output 4.8V and i googled for minimum resistence and i got 1.2ohm for it, I calculated a max output of 19W. That is far beyond my friend needs. (I just want to be sure there is a lot of margin between the wanted power of 12W and the max of the device).

Maybe is an option. What do you think?
