i'm kind of tired of big bulky units. Even my infinity is too cumbersome at this point. Same with egos. I'm getting ready to pay up for a nice auto battery and some lowish resistance bottom coil cartos. The cigarette is cigarette-sized for a reason, you know.

The general rule of thumb, however is the more it looks like an analog, the worse it performs. If you want a small, analog style ecig, don't put anything LR on it...unless you want to replace the battery.

The best place to start is the very cost-effective Riva kit ($30) and a 5 pack of Boge LR (2 ohm) cartomizers ($8).

Once you start vaping, you can figure out what are the most important attributes for a pv for YOU. These can be size, ease of use, power, consistency, etc. There are trade-offs in the designs, so one mod does not fit all. The Provari, Darwin, and REO are GREAT mods, but my preference, the REO Mini (tiny, neat, as easy as smoking), may not be yours.

this is the very reason I own a volt auto kit sometimes you just need a hands free small form factor PV

You can't use LR attys/cartos on small battery PV's. It will kill the battery or just won't work. Another limitation with these models.

For a small, simple, cheap, item, the vapornine Nebula starter kit is decent. $8 gets you a standard 808 auto battery, USB charger (no power supply -- use your PC or another USB charger), two prefilled cartos (16 mg, either tobacco or menthol). Nice for hands free, if you are sometimes in a place where you want to vape but not risk losing a pricey mod, or just plain want a cig form factor at times. The tobacco flavor is decent, and you can toss on any other 808 carto.

I went with Vapornine and am pretty happy with its performance though admittedly i have only tried two maybe 3 other brands of ecigs before: an old njoy, smoke everwhere and blu. As you may have noticed i only choose the cigarette style units. The vapornine has a express starter kit thats only $8 (yes i said EIGHT DOLLARS). One battery 2 carts and a usb charger. If you dont like it its only the price of a fast food meal. They have more completes kits as well of course.

If your looking for something that looks and feels like a normal cigarette not a big battery mod, the nexcig kicks .... compared to things like the volt, smoov etc and its under $30 for a starter kit, before their 15% off coupon runnersup.

Nexcig quality electronic cigarettes cheap

Yeah, I'll give the nod to this one too... Not so sure it kicks the .... of smoov, volt, bloog, etc... but it's absolutely as good for less money, and everybody likes having more money in their pocket. Customer service is absolutely stellar, too.
