The ones that look like cigs aren't the best. The next step up is the eGo class. batteries are larger, and they don't look like a cig. The batteries last longer. If you get an eGo C Twist, which is variable voltage, and what I'd recommend, they can get really long, and if you use a large carto or tank, they're even longer. Next step up from there is the APV, or mod. These can get very large.
I haven't had as much experience with the newer tech that's out there but as a former user of the 510 from years ago, my newly acquired eGo-C Twist is excellent. Paired with the Vision Clearo. Excellent draw, vapor, and throat hit. Vaping away as I type this.
This is a very reputable company with quality products, and customer service that backs up those products. They are geared for the beginner vapor, and all of their products are compatible with each other, which is extremely helpful to a beginner. In addition, there is an extremely active sub-forum that use their products here where you can see video demonstrations of all the equipment. Everyone there are extremely helpful to new users and there is almost always someone online to answer your questions promptly. Smokeless Image
If you're looking for a cigarette size, all my research pointed me to the Volt from Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette
Just got mine today, and for a discreet, pocket friendly device with lots of options, you can't beat it. If you google the coupon code, you can get 2 automatic sealed batteries, 5 prefilled cartridges, a bottle of juice (I love the chocolate) a car charger and a USB charger for about $50, shipped. You won't need anything else for a month. You'll be able to charge at home and on the road. An extra battery would be nice though, for another $10 or so with coupon. Then post a pic of you with it on this forum, and they'll send you yet ANOTHER battery. You'll be all set.
That same $50 wouldn't get me 8 days of cigarettes. And once you have the chargers and batteries, your daily cost gets even dramatically lower. Nice looking, well built, and superb customer service. I highly recommend it. The wife and I are loving it.
As much as I love my new Provari, I'd never recommend one to someone new. They wouldn't know what to do with it. Think about it. In order to appreciate such a device, one needs to have some previous experience in vaping. Would you recommend a Ferrari to a brand new driver? I don't think so. (No offense meant.)
Many people looking to get into vaping for the first time balk at the sight of a $60 starters kit that includes nearly everything you need to get started. And you recommend a nearly $200 bare bones mod w/o even batteries/charger included?
I love my Provari to death and believe it to be among the best mods available; and ProVape is one of the best companies, but not for someone totally new.
Absolutely understand Baditude, please take no offense either.
But by underestimating a persons abilities and needs mentioning any product inferior to the Provari may also be a disservice to them.
I'm no rocket scientist and the Provari was my first PV. a little video watching got me up to speed before it even arrived. Mind you I did waste a little cash on LR stuff.(DCC's)
Besides that, the question was for opinion on "what is the best ecig" not what is most newb friendly or a recommendation. That is all...no offense fellow vapers.
