Hi everyone, I am still rather new to vaping even though i bought my first ego 2 years ago. I quit vaping shortly after, because i couldn't find any ejuices I liked. (I bought over 20 bottles from vendors like virgin vapors, mt baker, viper vape, vapon juice..)
I tried flavors like : chocolate, grape, strawberry, gummy bear, cherry, peach, vanilla, mocha, blueberry, raspebery, cotton candy.. and sadly none of these flavors interest me, even though the same flavors in disposables taste good.

The only e-juice I like, is the e-liquid from disposables. I dont know why this is. Very confused but recently i decided to order some ejuice from a disposable cig company.

Anyways to my question for all, I recently noticed there are different ego style batteries, and was wondering if there was any difference in safety and performance between them ?

Batteries I looked at are:

Vision spinner
Kanger Evod VV
Innokin Itaste VV v4.0

Are there any other good ego style batteries with VV or similiar abilities? Which one has the most safety features?

Thanks to anyone who can reply!

Ok, first, disposables use eliquid just like any other Ecigarette. Many of the disposable liquids use pre-made liquids. I found this out long ago when looking for the company who made the juice for my Ecig. Last time I looked, Johnson Creek made the juice for Blu Ecigs, but couldn't release Blu's exact formula for copywrite reasons. I don't think they make it anymore, but it's something to think about.

Another difference between many ejuices and those disposables/cigalikes, is the fact that the cigalikes don't offer much of an airflow, and are high ohm. There are plenty of atomizers out there that offer high ohm low airflow solutions. The Nautilus is usually the first atomizer I would recommend to a new vaper. In general, the higher the ohm, the lower the airflow you should use. Keep that in mind.

Also, the flavors you listed were mostly non tobacco flavors. Many people quitting cigarettes tend to go with a more tobacco flavor first, then transition into the fruity flavors. I personally went that route as well. I went from smoking to a cigalike, then from a cigalike to an Ego/CE4 with a tobacco flavor, then I slowly switched off of the tobacco flavor. I didn't like the fruity flavors. I liked Hangsen's RY4... that was the juice that got me to quit smoking, then I went to a caramel, then to a fruit type.

So, in conclusion, I think you should start with a tobacco flavor first until you're completely off of cigarettes, then branch out from there. My first recommendation is the Nautilus line, maybe a nautilus mini. As far as the batteries, A battery is just that.....a battery. I recommend something with replaceable batteries, but if you must, any one of those you mentioned will do.. they both work well with their different strengths and weaknesses.

I haven't smoked in years , NealBJr. I just like vaping 0 nic ejuices, it reminds me of smoking. I really like the candy fruit flavors from disposable e-cigs.

It seems every single juice i buy smells and tastes like strong perfume, or has no flavor at all.

Nothing wrong with that either. :) My mother in law is a former smoker, and she doesn't like many of my juices. She vapes a 0mg juice. I think you like a flavor setup, and that is what those ego styles (and nautilus) does.

As far as the perfumy taste.... Mt. Baker Vapor makes their juices right before shipping. Ejuice is made from PG/VG + nicotine (optional) +food flavorings. Many of the fruity food flavorings were designed for baking candy. Many of them need to be aired and steeped. Airing is simply shaking the bottle, and leaving the cap off for a few days. Steeping is simply letting the flavors mix into the juice some more. I had to both air and steep many of Mt. Baker Vapro's juices... Airing got rid of the perfumy taste the most.. sometimes I would shake it, leave the cap open for a day or two, shake it again and leave it for another day... keep doing that until the perfumy taste went away. Many of the disposables have been sitting on the shelves for a while, so it's rare that you'll get a perfumy taste from them.. the shipping/selling method pre-steeps the juice (sometimes too much). I still like Mt. Baker Vapor.

And yes, that's why my mother in law vapes.. it just reminds her of smoking. She uses the Mistic Bridge which is small. I still think a Nautilus is better.

The coils/tanks you use greatly effect the flavor you may have found flavors you like but just didn't work good in your setup, if you like cigalikes I'd almost be to say you'd probably like a cartomizer type tank...

Generally though I recommend the Ego AIO (all in one) system, they are cheap and easy to maintain, also the coils are dirt cheap...

There are lots of VV/VW Pen/eGo batteries. Joyetech, Vision, Kanger, Janty, Innokin, Aspire, eGo-V....

They all have the similar discharge/overcharge/short circuit protection as far as I know.

Spinners have never been good long-term.
Evod VV is basic and ugly. Janty... well who cares...
Innokin have been the most reliable according to some Vendors... which is saying something as even the iTastes have been hit and miss.
Buy at your peril. I've had 6 over the years, all gone down/dead too quickly i.m.o.
Overall, not recommend unless you go into it with a certain mindset. One of my spinners lasted less than 4 months. My iTasteVV v.3 lasted a year.
Maybe a CLK (Innokin)?

I know you are looking for ego style/stick type batteries but have you considered an istick 20 or 30 watt battery?
They are much more versatile than the sticks, have a larger capacity, meaning less recharge cycles over time compared to sticks, leading to longer life. They are really quite small, can be vaped while they charge and I think all come with ego adapters.

Just a suggestion... there are better choices than vv batteries out there today. Cheers.

I would love the Joytech AIO but it appears that you cannot switch out the cartomizer / clearomizer in them, when u get bored of a flavor to go to another. Darn.
You can change the coils :) (not build them yourself).

$17.61 Authentic Joyetech eGo AIO 1500mAh E-Cigarette Starter Kit - 2ml / 0.6ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$6.86 Authentic Joyetech eGo AIO 316 Stainless Steel Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 0.6ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

if you want to switch flavor its really easy to clean it out and put a new coil in, no more bottom filling these days it's basically like a cup...

I'm also being sent a pre-release Tidus from Youde Tech to test, I'll be doing a written review on it, its a MTL/Beginner device that looks right up your alley, I'll do a written review when I get it, maybe in a week or so.

Also I've tried steeping and still get perfumy taste even after months. Is it because of the glass tanks I use ?

For this price you could get 2 or 3

In General
Lower Ohm Coils/Higher Wattage Vaping Will:
Heat The Coil Faster
Produce More Vapor, can mute taste (coat mouth/build up)
Drain The Battery Faster
Use E-Juice Faster
Produce A Warmer Tasting Vape
Shorten Coil Life
Shorten Wick Life
More PV Maintenance/Issues
More irritation to non vapers (tends create more negative comments regarding cloud production)

In General
Higher Ohm Coils/Lower Wattage Vaping Will:
Heat The Coil Slower, Which Will Produce “Less” Vapor
Provide A “Cooler” tasting vape, may produce more flavor.
May Use Less E-Juice (>$)
Prolong Battery Life (>$)
Prolong Coil Life (>$)
Prolong Wick Life (>$)
May Result in Less PV Maintenance/Issues
Less irritation to non vapers
Aids stealth vaping
