best ego threaded setup for volt spinner? I'm a nube

Yes, I'm still confused. The x2 batteries that I once used did not have ego threading on them (almost a year ago), only 808. So the Volt Spinners now also have ego threads? Why, especially since you said ego delivery devices don't fit? Doesn't make sense to me.
Unless they are there to only put an ego cone cover on them (for appearance, only.)

so people will confuse them with other ego type batteries and purchase them only to find out they wont work with jack?
We're back to the conundrum, but I think I understand: The Volt Spinner has 808 threading. The Volt Spinner has external threads that look like eGo threads, but only work with SI JDSs that have the SI external threads that look like eGo threads. The EVOD has eGo threading and will fit on a Vision Spinner, but not a Volt.
If you want to use a Vivi Nova on a Volt Spinner, you need an 808 to 510 adaptor
If you want to use an EVOD on a Volt Spinner, you need an 808 to eGO adaptor
But I still don't understand what the 808 to eGo adaptor screws into/onto...

Check this out Kids! I wish I had found it last night. It's an 808 next to a Riva (which is an eGo clone). The "eGo" threading on the 808 doesn't have as many grooves - those bastids!
all I know is that I no longer want the volt spinner. the vision spinner will allow me to experiment with different jds.but I like smokeless image products because of the quality I don't want to be disappointed with the quality of the vision spinner
I've only been with SI for 7 months and I'm not familiar with the older model X2s without ego threading. It is quite possible that the outer threading was originally for the cones, I'm not sure.
SI now carries T3's that only screw onto the outer threading and does not have the inner 808 threading. For test purposes, I tried putting one on my ego twists and it screws down but will not fire because the T3 post is too short to connect.
Hope I didn't confuse you further because I'm not an expert, only giving my opinion from my experience with them.
I love SI too because their products got me off analogs. However, if you want a broader selection of juice delivery systems, get a Vision spinner! I love them and it is definitely a quality product. I also got a spinner from Altsmoke which is kind of a "sister" company of SI. I'm very pleased with it as well.
Maybe I should let you know that I have mini 400mah egos, ego twists, Vision spinners and two spinners from Altsmoke. Also waiting for vape mail... an Evic.

nice lol so to clarify, the vision spinner is different from the spinner from altsmoke? where can I get one the cheapest? either the vision or altsmoke? and is the ego c a good product as well? in your personal oppinion what is the best hands down for the price?

Altsmoke tends to rebrand authentic products, but I have become very picky about batteries and want to be sure I don't get clones. The Vision Spinner and the eGo Twist are very similar. They are both VV that go from 3.2v to 4.8v. They both have knobs at the bottom that you turn to change the voltage. They both have 510/eGo threads. The Spinner is a little thicker and the hash marks are easier to see, but some people feel the Twist performs better/lasts longer. I only have Twists, so I can't offer an opinion, except to say I love mine.

This is the best price I know of at the moment for an authentic Twist, the vendor also sells an authentic Vision Spinner, but I don't know if the price is good; they also only have it in one mAh size:

I find no difference in the performance of the Vision spinner and the spinner from Altsmoke. Really no difference in performance from SI's Volt spinner, just the 808 threading on SI's spinner that sets it apart.
I prefer the spinner over the twist mainly because the markings on the dial are easier to see. Another plus for the spinner is the size... the 650mah spinner is slightly shorter than the 650mah twist. Also I believe the spinner charges faster than the twist but both use the same ego charger.

Just please do yourself the favor and make sure u buy one with EGO and 510 threading!!! 0.o
