I myself love smokeless image products. but what are the pros and cons of the spinners and what's the difference if any with the vision spinner and the volt spinner ?? thanks to all with insight

The only drawback to using the 808 Volt Spinner is there's not a lot of delivery device (holds and vaporizes the juice) options. The Vision 510 Spinner is the more common 510 threading.

Smokeless Image has a pretty good line of 808-threaded juice delivery devices. Cartos, clearos, ce3's, nanos, T3. Just no vivi nova type tanks, although if you wanted to use one you could purchase an 808-to-510 adaptor.

You can easily put a punched Smokeless Image Volt XL cartomizer in any slim cartotank meant for a 510-thread DCT tank. These would look fine on a Smokeless Image X2 or Volt Spinner battery, as they are essentually eGo batteries with an 808-thread. You can get an empty DCT tank (w/o the carto) from My Vapor Store. The 3.5ml tank is slimmer than the 6ml tank, so would look better on a Volt X2 or Volt Spinner battery. Pro DCTank Tube

You would need to use the silver stainless steel XL length cartomizers (not the black ones) and purchase a carto punch tool like this: Smoktech DCT Cartomizer Punch

If you don't wish to punch your own cartos, you can use these laser-drilled, 808-threaded cartomizers: 808 Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL

And why not the eGo-C Twist?

That's certainly another option. I preferred the Vision Spinner due to the same price point (for the excellent 1300) and the simple fact that the adjustment knob has tiny knurling on it which makes it easier to turn accurately.

Any good VV with both the eGo and 510 threading should be pretty similar though.

Hi Drifter, Go with the vision spinner or twist. You will be much better served with 510 threaded equipment. The number of options available, as you search for your perfect vape, are limitless.

After reading all your posts and blogs about carto tanks, I finally took the plunge so to speak and invested in a few.

I actually purchased this particular one with the idea of putting it on some of my 808 devices, the only drawback I see is there currently isn't anything out there to cover the eGo threads that are on the X2's and SI Spinner so I had to make my own. Luckily I had an eGo type B thread cover and used a pipe cutting tool to shorten it. I don't think I will try that again though - it wasn't much fun!

But in retrospect I simply love the 1.7ohm cartos in this tank on the X2's that I have!!!! I also have 510 devices so it's not an absolute for me, but my daughter only has 808 devices so I was trying to come up with something for her and something that would look pulled together.

Thank you for all your information - for me it has been very helpful.

There you go, you can have the best of both worlds with the adapter mentioned. If you love Smokeless Image go ahead and get their Spinner, if you decide to try 510 delivery systems later, get the adapter Baditude mentioned.

Some one mentioned the Ego Twist, it is a good choice also, does the same thing as a Spinner. Made by Joyetech, a very respected brand for Ego style batteries.

Good luck, Twist/Spinners are a great way to try VV at an affordable price.
