Things generally go by model more than brand. everyone makes something that is bad at least once. Ive got an evitar which isnt bad if you can handle the wonky shape.

There is a gentlemen (Puma) I believe that lives in Russia that makes some beautiful pipes too, I own several and really enjoy them a lot. Never had a problems receiving them quickly one the PP is paid.

My best off the shelf e-pipes are EPuffer 629 & Tobeco Hammer. I would say you're probably better off getting a hand made or a converted tobacco pipe.
Well it depends on what you are looking for, how close you want it to be to a tobacco pipe, and how much you want to spend.
Off the shelf, smok makes a really good pipe - The Guardian 3. Regulated, Temp control, and a single 18650. Con is that it is plastic. It does look like a tobacco pipe until you really look at it
If you want something a bit closer, you are going to have to look at a mod maker. One I would recommend is E-Pipe Mods (EPM). I have a amazing Gandalf style mod from them. It is a mech and takes a 18500
