Janty have also messed plenty of things up in the last two years I have been vaping, I have learnt that the proof of the pudding is in the eating without exception. You cannot make the asumption that one good product means all products from the same house will be as good. Jantysticks v1 v2 & v3 anybody?

That's debatable a lot of people like the v3 including me.

Thats exactly my point, I threw money at multiple v1 and v2 models hoping for a good one and it took until v3 for a reasonable version to be available. Maybe it will be custome engraved, have a tesla filter and come with a free cameo and an invisible wooden box

I do like quite a few things Janty have done and Ludo has been a decent bloke when I had issues, but I don't belong to their fanclub any more. It cost me far too much when I was a member. I hope it is a great pipe if it ever comes. But I am not waiting for it.

Well I need the wifes understanding not yours haha. And it looks nice hand made in the usa bet there wont be a million of them made and due to the organic nature of wood and being hand made every one will be unique can you say that about a mass produced chinese product?

Posted this on Frogbmth's thread:

I received my "ProtoPype" yesterday and I absolutely love it!

Over the years, when I was a smoker, I collected 65 pipes in all. Bent Bulldog was my favorite style, but I had a couple of Calabash and Meerschaum's that were bigger than the ProtoPype, as well as some 'monster' Danish freehand designs and Caminetto's that were almost as heavy.

As for price, a new Caminetto POV sells for $300+ here in Chicago. Here we have the 1st USA handmade ProtoPype (Proto= meaning “first,” “foremost,” “earliest form of”) in Smoked Mesquite Wood with really beautiful grain and natural character, for a bit less than $200. I have a pipe back in my hand; but instead of buying tobacco, I'm buying batteries and e-juice AND I'm VAPING!!

It's a secret!
So got a mini-pipe through the trade forum here. Screwed on a 801-510 adapter and a 2.5 resistance carto and BLAMMO!

Works like a champ! Great vapor, flavor and long-lasting!

I own several mini tobacco pipes that I smoked every day as I usually didn't have a long period of time to smoke. This is awesome and is thus far, replicating the enjoyment I had from smoking my real mini-tobacco pipes.

I've gotten an inexpensive DSE 601 recently also and a prefer the mini-pipe by FAR.

Like said in my previous post. To each his own. But to answer your question. Yes I would prefer Janty.
