I started vaping with E-Cigs to stop smoking. I thought it was VG + PG + Nic + a few known flavor chemicals.

Looking for juices, it seems that the 'flavors' I've been using seem to be extracted from steeping different actual tobacco's then in some cases adding additional flavors?? So there are still a bunch of unidentified/unknown chemicals in my juice and I'm not as far from tobacco smoking as I thought. But I do love the flavors.

Are there any good 'tobacco' flavors that are mixed from known recipes instead of extracted from tobaccos? Any suggestions on flavors that would appeal to a tobacco lover that wants a tobacco-free juice?

A little off that topic - I tried some Jim Beam Kentucky Fire - Kentucky straight Bourbon infused with cinnamon liqueur - wonderful - and I don't care much for regular jim beam. Never imagined cinnamon in a vape before, but as I tasted this I was thinking I'd like a vape that left that same aftertaste - sweeter that bourbon, less sharp than most cinnamons - any recommendation on that?

Thanks

Any non NET. Tribeca from Halo for example, seems to be very popular and that's a synthetic "tobacco". The harm from tobacco is in the act of putting it on fire, for the most part. That is what creates the vast majority of the toxins. I don't think people who vape NET's are at a greater risk than people who vape synthetic tobacco flavors though. Not done a lot of research on this, mind you.

You can add a few drops of cinnamon flavor or e juice, to a bourbon NET ( MYVapeJuice, has that ).

The majority of tobacco liquids on the marketplace are not NET (Naturally Extracted Tobacco). Most are known as synthetic tobacco or artibaccos (artificial tobacco).

Some of the vendors known for superb artibaccos are: Alien Visions (Boba's Bounty), Indigo, Mountain Oak Vapor (both arti and NET), Nitelite Vapor, Halo, Juice Mafia, Dekang, and Hangsen, etc, etc, etc. Just about every eliquid vendors has some, many from the same flavor sources.

Feel free to peruse the Natural Tobacco thread to learn more about the facts and myths of NETs if you're interested. Best of luck in your search, and on your vaping journey.

Something in tobacco causes addiction. Sounds like its not the nicotine by itself that causes it so other ingredients or combination - so theres something else I want to be sure I'm rid of - but don't know what it/they are or if its in an extracted flavor - possibly differs depending on extraction process. People get hooked on chewed as well as smoked - so whatever compounds do it don't require combustion and I want to be sure.

I found found a whisky and a cinnamon and will try them combined - then I found another thats bourbon+cinnamon already mixed :
Fireside USA's - Fireside Cinnamon Bourbon - which I ordered from eliquidplanet. http://www.eliquidplanet.com/e-liquid/fireside-cinnamon-bourbon/ Sounds like just the thing I'll look for the right place to put a review once I've tried them.

I always liked tobacco flavors. Still do but my favorite now and allday vape is Rootbeer. I find it hits and has tobacco tendencies. Also Carmel Coffee is a lot like tobacco. Nice little change from strait tobacco taste and still hits and they still taste a lot like tobacco. CHEERS!

People get hooked on chewing tobacco, because it has nicotine. Nicotine is the addictive element, tar and the other carcinogens, is what kills you ! Unless you use 0 mg nic juice, the addictive component of smoking is still present in vaping, no matter what juice you use.

Regardless, if you don't feel comfortable using anything derived from tobacco leaves ( besides nicotine, that is !), as noted above, you have plenty of synthetic tobacco flavor options.

I have to agree about Juice Mafia. I find their Tobacco flavors to be among the best. Their Peach Tobacco is the best I have tried.
yeah, their flavored tobacco's are the best I have tried, especially tropical tobacco. I prefer NET's to synthetics in general and I think their unflavored tobaccos are vapable, but nothing special. They just do their flavored tobaccos really well !

I highly recommend you try Deadly Sin from Good Life Vapor. I think they list it as a tobacco flavor, but it doesn't taste like tobacco at all. It is more of bold bakery flavor with a very nice, balanced kick of cinnamon. It has been described as a combo of cinnamon roll and rice crispy treat. Generally everyone who tries it likes it, which is evidenced in many rave reviews from a few months ago. Several other popular juices and boutique vendors have grabbed the spotlight since, but this is definitely not one to overlook.

If you want something with more tobacco flavor, but isn't a NET, give Indigo Vapor a try. They are so NET-like that it is almost hard for me to believe they aren't. Just be warned that I also found the throat hit of their 12mg nic to be significantly more than any other I've tried, so maybe go for a % notch lower than usual.

One thing you have to know is that many liquids that claim to be synthetic actually have tobacco absolute in it. Tobacco Absolute (or TA), is a super concentrate of tobacco that has most often been produced by a very convoluted process (hexane washing) and is mostly used in the perfume industry (look up Tobacco Absolute).

Some vendors won't tell you, some vendors won't even know. It's not always easy to tell. But, I understand your desire to find "synthetic flavors," but know that the only liquid you can be the *most* clear on is unflavored.

Sometimes tea flavored vapes can have a very tobacco-like edge, especially if it's natural teal liquid.

God I hate Tobacco Absolute, especially when vendors pass it off as a net or natural extraction., its a perfume for god's sake. I guess my taste buds are purist ingrained after 25 years of tobacco.

Quic Nic's 555 I believe is pretty tobacco free yet tastes OK as a tobacco.
