hey guys. im still fairly new to vaping so im in the process of research and saving until i purchase higher tier mods and tanks. right now im vaping a fairly basic setup. an 1100 mah vv enso axis battery and an aspire bdc tank (comparable to the kanger evod), with an upgraded drip tip and thread cover. understanding that this is a fairly cheap and basic setup, do you guys have any suggestions on how to get the maximum flavor out of my e-cig? i vape normally at 4.8 volts (the highest my battery allows) and i use 50/50 6 mg nic juices from mtbakervapor. any suggestions to maximize flavor would be awesome. ive done my research and plan to steep my next order of juice so hopefully that will help but since i started ive sort of noticed that all of my flavors taste almost identical and i can only think that this has to do with the low quality of my setup and changing atomizers every time i change flavors would get quite expensive at 10 bucks for a 5 pack. thanks in advance!

I have tried a few different batteries and toppers from ARO/EVOD type tanks, to FoggerV2's and even a Squape(Kayfun type tank). None of it made as much difference to me as the switch from silica wicks to cotton yarn.

You should be able to learn to rebuild those "replaceable" heads using your own coil and cotton and that would make a big difference IMHO.

I am fairly sure that if every member of these forums told you their favorite mod, vaporizer, juice flavor, and everything strange they do to get their best smoke no two would be the same.

That being said you need to decide what YOU think makes the best flavor and ask people who want the same thing how they get the best.

One vaper might want light nicotine and a mild throat hit while another will be happiest if they choke on each puff. Expelling a huge cloud of smoke makes everything taste better for some people while others like to have an inconspicuous puff in the corner.

Your best bet is if you can try some stuff others use and make some basic decisions about what YOU want.

I wish I could be happy with a simple, and cheap, eGo and not love to collect, more expensive mods. It doesn't really matter to me if the vapor tastes better because of the equipment or if it tastes better because I think it does with the equipment.

That said, I do not like huge clouds of vapor, I find buying a new coil more fun than building my own, I don't think I can tell the difference between cotton or whatever wicks, I don't like square mods (but I find myself thinking I should have at least one) for looks but I assume they vape the same, I like citrus (most of them tine, sometimes I am in the mood for something else so I also have menthol, cinnamon, cherry, mellon, etc.), and a lot more. Of course this all could change in the future.

Ditch the clearomizers and get a quality cartotank. Honest. They are the next progression after clearomizers, until you decide to get into rebuildable tanks like a Kayfun-style rebuildable tank.

I hated Carto's much less in a tank. The quality control on the 2 packs of Boge carto's I got was so bad. Some of them came pre-clogged, you couldn't suck air through them before adding any juice to them or screwing them onto a device. Others seemd to not hold any juice, it just ran straight through and yes I avoided getting any in the center hole. Of course there were some that worked great as well. Now, it may be that they fixed these issues but I have never looked back at them.

First of all...turn that battery down. More power isn't always better especially if you're burning the crap out of your juice which is why you might not be getting the flavor your want. I've never had an aspire anything but my protank heads work best on a lower setting.

As others have mentioned learn to tweak or even rebuild your coil/wicking to maximum effect. Replacing the flavor wicks daily in a protank is key. Even better is replacing the coil with a cotton build.

When you upgrade, get a well-reviewed kayfun clone. $7 of Kanthal wire and a bag of organic cotton balls will set you up for life.
