If your intrested in one you can find them 2nd hand in the classifieds.

As for the Riva if you prefer a US vendor (many people love Eastmall for their prices and great customer service). main_page=product_info&cPath=22&products_id=100]The Riva (Black) - $49.95 : VaporJunction, E-Cigarette Supply has them for $10 more which is a $1 dollar difference after shipping costs.

wow thank you for this post. i lost both my 510s but still have all my liquid, had to go back to analogs as there are no ecig providers locally. just got my paycheck and need an ecig because analogs are so nasty now since i started vaping. for a buck difference i'll take American.

went to altsmoke website..silver bullet is out of stock.

Sorry about the formatting, I can't fix it with this stupid phone:

You can sign up to be notified, there will be more in a week or so. If you've been away from the scene for awhile, you might be very surprised at some of the new stuff that's available. That Buzz Cpt.J mentioned has a little screw on the outside that you can adjust "on the fly" and dial in the exact voltage increment that makes the atty you're using perform the way you prefer. There are both high- and low-resistance atomizers, to raise or lower the heat (wattage)
depending on what voltage you're using. There are various juice-feeding mods that
use different schemes to feed the liquid
directly to the atty. Cartomizers for the 510.
A new carto coming out that has no filler
material (?!). Scottyballs "Zero Filler Mod" for cartridges. Drip tips. Some great big batt mods, all different voltages. There is even a high-tech mod from Cisco that's supposed to be
coming out (one of these days) that connects to your computer via USB, so you can program different voltage "sequences". Like (for example) 0.3 seconds @ 6V, then it lowers to 4.7V until you release the button.

I'd really a link to some more info on this, thanks.

The eGo = Riva seems like the best all-around off-the-shelf unit. Unless you were a half pack a day type smoker, like my wife, (for whom a 510 with 2 manual batteries is cigarette-like, small and practical), the cigar-like eGo/Riva/Tornado is the ticket.

There are more high-tech devices and "mods", and low resistance atomizers or high voltage batteries, and so on, for the hard core tweakers, but if you just want to chain-vape, the eGo/Riva/Tornado type device does the job. The 650 mAh batteries last about 6 hours of chain-vaping, and they recharge in about 2-3 worst case, so you keep cycling.

Oh, yeah, the 510 atomizers that are used in the Riva/eGo as well as the 510, work fine for everything with the standard 3.7 volt batteries.

I chose the BB from altsmoke. I thought the SB was too big, and I already had a bunch of 14500 batts. It's roughly the same price as the prodigy V3 and doesn't have the button on the bottom like the V3. It can also be used at 6V with 2 CR2 3V batts (protected of course). I got the silver vein finish and absolutely love it.
