You can get Pinoy sized clouds on most of the mechanical mods on the market. The safer ones have a battery spring and large explosion vent holes. A non-counterfeit quality battery is required. 1 ohm dual coil is actually enough if you have two 1/8" air holes. The critical part is how you build the wick and coil. Confirm no hard shorts prior to firing. Try not to over discharge your batt which may make it blow.
I stay within the limits dont worry... I ordered some 30amp batteries for a shot a a .5ohm dual coil setup on my igo-w
Wanted to block the original air hole in it (dont know how yet) and drill 2 3mm holes a little higher so the liquid wont leak and then i would do bedded nano coils since i find it easier to wick those with bedding
I have ofc played with the idea of some 6.5mm holes in the middle tube of the mod to vent any gasses faster to prevent any wanna be pipebomb situations

Must admit i was a bit drawn to the nemesis... But ended up buying the m16 because i heard good stuff about it... Even from the people on youtube that tries to challenge mother natures clouds... Maybe ill end up doing the same for a while... One things for sure... Imma need a hammock this summer

I concur w/ overkill explosion vent holes on both ends of mod. I think that reduces worst case to spewing heat and gases. Beats the heck out of pressure cooker explosion.
Personally I'd just order another RBA that meets air flow desires. Otherwise you could braze unwanted holes shut.
In addition to batt thermal runaway from hard short there are counterfeits on the market; so I prepare for the worst just in case.
Well the panasonics i got from FT was good enough... No problems with those yet, so i assume the sonys i the real deal as well... Would never buy from a place i didnt trust and the reviews was good as well... As for the Igo-W i dont have any real use for it after i got my helios so im going to try...

Buy your hod rodder buddy a pizza then ask if she would mind breaking out her Oxygen/Acetylene torch and brazing a couple holes. If shes not in da mood ask Goober at the muffler shop to do it. Should be cheap. Like free to 5 bucks.

Just remove any poly insulators and be aware it will blue. Maybe you can talk him into making the bluing uniform for an artsy look. Then again, art may not be his forte. Otherwise you can polish it back to silver.
Another option is to use a copper wire close to hole size. Use hammer and make shift anvil to make your own solid rivet.

I have the tools to test now - out of the box the SS Magneto had a lot of voltage drop but after pulling out the spring under the bottom battery connection I get 0.15 volt drop with a 1.3 ohm atty using a 30 amp Sony.
