Best idea I've got to offer

This is what I want to see...

Six 510 cartomizers on a revolver. Like a gun. Sandwiched in between two metal plates (like a tank)... 3 layers really, with a stem that connects them.

A small plate on the bottom one would re-route the battery to one side (very thin). The plate above that would have 6 screw-ins - all with connections underneath. When it's twisted, they connections are made and only that atomizer is used. Then the top of the device would simply link them together with a drip tip.

I've carried this idea around for a while. It's been long enough to accept that I don't have the means or ability get this manufactured.

Maybe they're already out there. I couldn't have been the first one to think of this. I've got a lot of juices and don't want to go through the hassle of changing unscrewing them and putting another one on... plus I think it'd look pretty bad ... with a revolver attached.

Thoughts?

i'm fairly "good with tools" and have some metalworking experience and some generalized electrical knowledge....the major issue with a mod in this form is the fact that carto's are threaded....as is the battery, and when you thread a carto into the battery, the posts line up and a circuit is made....so in order for this to work, the mod would, literally, look like a six shooter, which would probably get you more looks in public with smoke coming out of it than a standard cigarette....but anywho, lets brainstorm for a minute....

first off, lets disregard the battery and focus on the "chamber" of the gun if you will....first off you'd need 6 independent connectors that would screw into the base at the battery end...the base connecting to the battery would have to be in at least two parts, one to connect to the battery and extend the post, and another to hold the cartos and rotate on an axis (an axle seems most logical) and to accept the extended post from the battery....matter of fact, if you're going with a full-blown mod here, you can go ahead and make a gun handle, using the hammer to .... back and lock the post in place by moving it up on the battery, then pulling the trigger to activate.....but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves just yet....

as far as the "barrel" end, unfortunately you wouldn't want it to be too long, as the longer the path from the carto the more the flavor/potency of the vape deteriorates, also, being this is metal, it may pick up on some of the "metallic taste"...so the best option is to think along the lines of a snub nose....the only issue i would have figuring out is how to keep the "barrel" from rotating with the chamber.....at least not without making the chamber area non-removable....

so given all those details, chances are what you'll need is something like....maybe a square foot of 1/16" sheet stainless steel (aluminum will cause more taste impurities, trust me, lots of days spent as a misguided youth here doing things i shouldn't) which, that much should be MORE than enough to cut the parts you need....you'll need a drill as well, and a tap and dye set....and preferably a handfull of drillbits/hole saws to use with the drill....you can cut discs with the hole saw and drill out the "chamber" pieces and tap in threads for your cartos to fit into....some stainless steel tubing the diameter of the cartos (to make everything aesthetically appealing) for the "barrel", i'd say an inch max in length...

the final piece of the puzzle would probably be the hardest...the handle....if you chose the pull up method, you'd need a lever/latch mechanism inside the handle to slide the battery connection up to meet the carto when you pulled the hammer, thus completing a circuit and "cocking" the gun....then you would use another switch for your power, or "trigger" to vape...

anyways....go ahead and bounce a few ideas around if ya want.....i've done kookier things in my spare time...i might just make this a side project of mine lol

edit: oh and incase you're wondering what "kookier" things i could be doing.....my current hobby project is creating a fully automatic pellet gun assault rifle powered by a paintball gun fitting that i've retrofitted to a scuba tank with a few regulators and an ammo hopper feeding to a pressure washer wand......my last test i got about 30 solid minutes of awesome with a full tank of air :p

the issue is that these aren't true "six shooter" mods....what the OP wishes is for a mod that with do one of two things:

A. it can provide six cartos worth of juice for the entire day....just twist if you go dry in one and fire away again.

B. it can provide up to six flavors of juice, and if you get bored with one, just chamber the next cartridge for a change in flavor.

also, since it carries six cartos, you shouldn't really have to carry around a ton of juice bottles with you...ijs

I have more than enough problems juggling just one carto

i understand man, really lol...i use a vivi tank clone myself and rebuilding them gets to be a hassle...but its certainly a novel idea not having to carry around juice bottles or tanks to get a full day's worth of vape, plus have a few different flavors to try out....i'm thinking about popping over to the ubuntu side of my PC to start on technical drawings for this tomorrow to see what i can come up with, i'll keep everyone posted if i do anything with it.

Now all you need to do is to figure out how to make a cartomizer that doesn't taste like polyfill...

that is an exceptional question that no one has been able to answer just yet, however, i have been thinking about experimenting by pulling out the poly and winding up some wick material to see what would happen with the taste (if anything)

Revolver.jpg

Part A just simply re-routes the connection from the center to one side.

Part B holds the cartomizers. They screw into the lower part, which clearly needs to be made of some kind of conductive material. When it's twisted and makes the connection with A, that's the cart that will fire.

Was also thinking about how they'd lock into place. Bounced the idea off my brother and he suggested that a little spring/ball mechanism be used like some tools have... I think they're inside air compressors / pressure washers too to keep the nozzle on and easily changeable.

The top of part B really just holds them into place securely.

C just connects them all to the same drip tip. I know you'd want as little room b/t the revolving part and drip tip... and might even consider putting some kind of cylinders or hoses that run from the cart to as close to the tip as possible, just so if you have different flavors in, they'll contaminate each other as little as possible.
