best kanthal gauge?

Ive been building coils for about 1 month now i like vaping around. .4ohm my question is what the best gauge kanthal wire? I used 26 and 24.

Btw i have 3 nemesis 1 panzer blackhawk and lbaloi on the way.im asking so i know whats the best gauge kanthal on my mods if it makes a difference.

Hard to say, since there are so many factors missing. Guess its more of a preference, than a best.

I use mech mods also, but prefer my vapes at around .2 ohm. I use 24 gauge.

Your mod isn't going to matter as much as if you are using single or dual coil and how long you want your coil to be.

maybe look a coil build calculator and see how the gauge effects things

My new quick favorite is 24 gauge, six wraps around a multimeter probe, dual coils, center post build. It measures .21 ohm every time, on multiple RDAs.

No one will be able to tell you what ohm it us. PLEASE do the vaping community a favor and go buy yourself an ohm reader / dmm. Vaping publicity is bad enough as it is.

Im taking it to a vape shop tomorrow i know i need to get me a ohm reader but vape shops r expensive.i understand they need to make a profit. Ill have them check the ohms.

Sorry, didn't mean for it to sound that way. Just that twisted 24g @ 3wraps sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. How do you know if your batteries can handle it? Your bet is as good as mines.

Listen that's why I'm in here asking questions Yes my battery is an lg I heard Sonny no longer sells batteries so the lg is about the same if I saw anything that wasn't right would u thing I be here?I didn't mean to be rude I underunderstand I mostdef.need a meter until then I will have it checked by a profesiprofessional.

If you're talking about the LGDBHE21865, better known as LGHE2, then they are 20amp. I wouldn't feel safe going any lower than 0.3ohms, and to me that is already too low. 0.3ohms will give you 20% headroom.

Not to be critical...but for safety sake...get an ohm reader. No one should be building coils and not knowing what the resistance is. This is dangerous! It doesn't have to be a fancy box with a 510 connector. I use an inexpensive multi-meter that reads ohms and even a 10 dollar one is quite accurate. Do yourself a favor and get one. Please.

im not here to argue.anyways I had it checked it's. .39 ohms my buddy gave me one of his meters.
