I just ordered a panzer clone from fasttech. I'm so stoked but all I have to compare it to is my kamry k100. How does it compare to something like a nemesis?

Couldn't tell you, don't have a Nemesis. But I do have a K100. It feels better holding it. It's solid. The magnet switch upgrade is nice too. Now the vape...same. I, in my very limited experience, have noticed there is not much of a difference between mods. The build is the key to a good strong vape. This weekend I plan to measure the voltage drop between the K100 and Panzer and then I'll clean them both, clean the threads with my Dremel and a wire brush tip, buff the contact points, Noalox the threads and then redo the voltage drop measurements.

Pretty much the mods I see most often are the Nemesis and Chi You. I personally can't tell you a lick about them just what I see most often on the forums :p

Now are there pro's to having brass over stainless steel? If so what are they? I see a lot of brass mech mods out there.

Less voltage drop under load supposedly.

Just bought an EHpro NZonic clone, and boy, it is so much better than my nemesis clone. The nemi is a fasttech clone that I got for under 25 an the NZonic I payed 60. Magnetic switch, reverse threaded lock ring. This baby is sexy.
What's the benefit of reverse threading?

Interesting. After some more research it seems as if the stingray is probably the best mod clone out there right now. I just really dislike the aesthetic of the copper color. :(

Copper color?

This one is supposed to be stainless steel.

Interestingly the copper one seems to cost 10% more!

It's cheaper to make something out of brass than to machine stainless steel.
otot you don't know the quality of your stainless steel until you have it long enough to see if it rusts or not.

Got an unbranded solid copper Nemesis clone from Vape Royalty for thirty bucks. Well solid copper except for the firing pins which are silver plated copper. Hits like a train with very little voltage drop, battery drop is barely noticeable too. Really it's the battery that is the real potential in a rig, the mod itself just optimizes the battery's inherent performance. Sony VTC4s or VTC5s seem to be the way to go, especially if you want to be safe with a sub-ohm build.

Most batteries have a max 4.2 volts and the real reason for high drain and high amp is mainly for safety. A high volt or high wattage regulate device like a DNA30 is needed to go passed the 4.2-4.25 barrier... or stacking batteries BUT DO NOT that unless you know what you are doing! It's more than just knowing your ohms and amp limit!
