im not really a new vaper. ive been vaping on and off for around 4 years. i just made an account here and its making me post my first 7 posts in the beginners forums. i know how to rebuild coils, i just dont know what the set the VV/VW mods at. ive been using the robot v and the atlantis aspire for around 6 months now and havent had any problems with it. personally i like the mech mods better than a vv/vw. ive found the vv/vw mods dont make as much vapor as the mech mods do. if i knew how to get a vw mod to hit like a mech mod then i might try one.
7? It only made me post 5 :)

i guess if i knew what to set the VV/VW at the get the best flavor and vapor then i wouldnt mind using one of those. what VV mods do yall suggest? and what tank/clearomizer?

What's your budget? There is a range in price and good/bad quality(ies) on each end. I use the Kanger K-Box, which can be had for less than $20 bucks now, and I am just about to purchase a high wattage box for $75 - $100 (depending on how long I wanna wait:) The K-Box is definitely beginner-user friendly (only control the wattage), but it is limited by the preselected wattage settings (7, 13, 20, 25, 30,35,40) and beginners should be able to test wattage levels within said presets (IMHO of course).

I top it with the Kanger Subtank mini. Fires premade Organic Cotton Coils (OCC) and comes in 0.5 Ohm and 1.2 Ohms. The mini and the plus come with a rebuildable atomizer kit as well that you can learn to build on.

Also, definitely familiarize yourself with the device of your choice. It will help you understand how wattage, voltage, resistance and amperage work together. Reg. devices should have built in safeties and will warn you when something is wrong (i.e. battery in backwards, short in atty, low battery etc.) Take suggestions and research, research, research. The more you know the better your vape will be.

I prefer rda/rba myself, however ive been using an ipv mini2 70 watt boxmod with an arctic subohm tank. You can get coils in range of .2, .5 and i think 1.2 may be higher cant remember lol. Thats what i would suggest. Like posts before mine on this thread i have and use mech mods and tbh i like the consistency of how the puffs are. I take long drags(lung hits) and its definitely a decent vape with the artic subtank. Good luck and vape on!
