I haven't found a menthol liquid yet that totally did it for me. I've found some good ones in my search but none that were exactly what I was looking for.

What worked for me was getting menthol crystals and adding them to a flavor I already liked. My search is now over. I only add a very small amount so they last forever, much cheaper this way and I can control the strength to get the cool crisp menthol I was looking for.

You can also get them in liquid form which is probably the best route if you haven't used them before, easier to get exactly the amount your looking for but not quite as cost effective. Here's a link that carries them as well as many other places

If you want to get something fairly inexpensive that you can add components to when you're sure that you like vaping, try an Ego model.

Liberty Flights has a basic starter kit for $29. Click on the 20% off banner on the top right.

I'd add a box or two of 2.0 boge cartomizers and a drip tip and 30 ml of juice. That way you can use cartomizers, carts & atty, or drip. I'd add a pass-thru as well.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

If you like it, you can always purchase more accessories for it.

Good menthol you might like

Joye 510 manual (2-3 hours), Joye 510 with manual mega xl batteries (3-4.5 hours), or the fatetr-battery versions Joye Ego or Riva 510 (6-8+ hours and the ability to use hotter harder hitting LR parts). 510 is a 3-piece you can use as a 2-piece w/ blank cartomizers
See LiteCigUSA.net, Cignot.com and others for real Joye 510 and Joye Ego. Also some rebranders like Volcano say their models are Joye-manufactured

or

KR808D-1 manual (3-4.5 hours w/ standard length batteries) - a dedicated 2-piece, many prefilled cartomizers available as well as types of blanks. Can be used as a 3-piece if desired but it will make it longer and needs parts of other models. The fat-battery 6-8+ hour version are CigEasy's Elegant Easy and leCig's PigCig.
See LiteCigUSA.net and VaporLeaf.com for standard KR808D-1, Vapor4Life.com for colors and prefilled cartos

Those are the MOST supported 2 model lines - most accessories, most cartos, most adapters, most fat-battery models, and most popular

Juice is a whole separate thing - it takes a while to find juices that hit the spot for you. You can use any ejuice in any decent ecig. The ecig only controls the quality of the drags, the charge length of the battery, etc. I am not a menthol smoker - I cannot help you there.

Prefilled is only a small convenience - the cart of a 3-piece needs to be topped off with eliquid often. Cartomizers can be vaped longer before they seem a bit dry or a bit light of vapor and need more eliquid (to avoid singeing the stuffing and ruining the carto). Ego/Riva can also use tank atomizer and tanks which probably vape longer than cartos between fills.
