Best Menthol?

This is my first post, and I'm kind of sorry it has to be in the "new members forum" because I really could use advice from those experienced with different brands. I've tested out e-cigs at shopping malls and it shocks me that I could actually do the impossible and quit with these things!!! It's like a miracle! But it all hinges on finding an e-cig as good as the real thing.

Green cigs menthol had an after-taste I didn't like.....sort of fruity.

White Cloud menthol had an after-taste that was sort of chocolate-y.....not too terrible. But the price of a kit is about twice other brands, and no money back guarantee.

I would like to find a menthol e-cig that tastes like just menthol + tobacco.......like real cigarettes taste. Any recommendations? I currently smoke American Spirit menthol analogs.

I'd like to know the same thing. I tried Nhaler's Octane Menthol 10mg - taste is pretty good, just didnt have that strong menthol kick for me.

I really like Newport from litecigusa.net & it's my new fave menthol. Really rich, robust, tingly... just a great vape. I only wish he still had 50 mil bottles of it.

Been on the hunt for a couple of weeks and am willing to share my list of my opinions, so far...

Halo Menthol Ice -- light and bright, has a hint of vanilla on the exhale, not too overpowering, no tobacco taste

Halo Cool -- very light and airy, less menthol than Ice, no tobacco taste

Halo Newpure -- stronger than the others, a little bitter bite - maybe that's supposed to be the tobacco??

Halo is currently out of stock -- I have read that IndyVaporShop has the Ice in 24mg.

ELiquidPlanet's Essence Menthol Ice -- a little heavier and sweeter than Halo MI, no tobacco, nice menthol though

Vapor 4 Life -- has a large selection of tobacco/menthol flavors -- I have tried several of them and I like both the Virginia Menthol / Smilin Special Menthol the best (both have tobacco flavors) but unfortunately, they all have an underlying sour/perfumy taste that I can't quite get around for daily vaping. Most unfortunate... I am hoping my tastebuds will adjust as time goes on, I really do like the basic taste of these two.

PureSmoker Cash menthol and Cash Menthol Ice -- these are both pending delivery this week and I am anxiously awaiting them.


I like Halo Menthol Ice and ELP's Essence Menthol Ice the best. They do have a sweetness to them, as I mentioned, and I don't enjoy them while partaking of beverages, particulary wine and beer. I love them for a day in day out vape, expecially the Halo MI. I am still on the hunt for a good, clean tobacco menthol for changing things up during the day (and in the evening, it's 5:00 Somewhere, y'know) .

Have read some very positive things about these below and will be trying them as soon as the budget allows (which,apparently, won't be until October according to my banner) and I do like the other products I have purchased from these two companies, so far.

And, remember, you can buy Liquid menthol drops and/or menthol crystals (got mine from Juicy Liquids) to add to a "plain"tobacco flavor if you find one that you like. They are VERY strong, use VERY sparingly. I learned that they need heat or some alcohol (I think Pure Grain) in the base to stay dissolved. I added the drops to a pure VG and they crystallized in the dropper bottle -- what a mess!

Good luck! Just so you know, my banner reflects two months of vaping purchases TOTAL, not just initial investment. I will consider myself "broke even" when I find the two menthols I just can't live without and quit purchasing all these other ones in search of the menthol chalice...

I was a salem ultra light smoker. Can't seem to find the right menthol yet either. All are too minty. I also have found in my limited experience that the menthols I have tired produce less vapor than a tobacco flavored liquid.

Think I am going to try dunhall menthol from V4L next. The tobacco flavor Dunhall seems pretty close to analogs to me.

Mentha from VaporTalk. Strong stuff.

TastyVapor (yummy vanilla minty menthol flavor) good vapor (has VG) and I add my own made menthol drops to it. Perfect.

Reviews and opinions from members here help... and buying from the suppliers in the Supplier's Forum on ECF is a better option than surf buying for sure.

The Menthol from e-cig.com is pretty good (well at least the one I was sent was) if you like it mild with a nice creamy tail end to the taste. It's a great chill out juice. But I probably wouldn't recommend it if you want something that make you tingle from oesophagus to sinus. It's more like mint icecream, with a minor TH thrown in just to remind you you're still Vaping (but it's still a well used fav of mine).

I have yet to find a menthol juice that I like. I'm waiting on the Halo juices to be restocked - based on reviews here.

I also had to kick myself in the .... for thinking that I could never like any other flavorings. My juice had to be menthol flavored because my analogs were. Fruit flavors, cookie flavors, etc. seemed absurd.

Not.

Butter Rum. Mint girl scout cookies. Almond Chocolate Coconut Bar.

I was so wrong.

For those of us concerned with watching our weight, a hit/hint of cookie flavor can also curb the desire for other calorie-laden items.

Halo Menthol Ice, or soon to be renamed Newpure. Halo has been down for a while but soon to be back up. Very clean and refreshing vape with tons of vapor. If you like a hint of vanilla, Ice is the way to go. Very subtle and light vape is the Newpure.

The others all taste about the same and you may enjoy trying them. Smilin this and Happy that, but Halo has a touch all it's own. I never cared for menthol on the analogs but Ice and Newpure are getting me through until Freedom is once again available.


Freedom is the all day vape and go to juice. Taste is different for each person and I'm surviving on these other liquids until Halo gets up and doing.

For a person who never cared for menthol.....theirs is by far the only menthol I would consider. It's darned good.

Amazing? Can you describe it?

I myself found it to be airy with some kind of after taste I can't describe. I was able to save the premiums (they are excellent in soft cap) by rinsing and replacing the juice with menthol ice.

What do you like about the flavor. Just curious.

I like Johnsons Creek, They make there juice in the good ol' USA and it is sent in Glass bottles. The flavors are amazing! I love the Menthol but the expresso and french vanilla are also awesome. If you haven't checked them out you really should! My second choice is Vapors4life, there stuff is really good to

Thanks to all who have responded here! Your descriptions of various menthols are really helpful. Even descriptions of kinds I wouldn't like are excellent information......so I know what brands to avoid.

What I'm looking for is a fresh, "tingly" menthol with definite tobacco undertones and a convincing throat hit. To duplicate, as close as possible, my American Spirit menthol analogs.

Eventually I might try more unusual flavors, but for the time being I need something that duplicates analogs as close as possible to quit them.

I'm gonna try to save you some time and money. I bought Menthol from all the Premium Dealers. I just wasn't satisfied,some were good, some a little better,but not hitting my menthol urge. here's what you do. Take any good regular tobacco juice. I use a 24mg nic Marlboro flavor. Make sure it tastes good to you. I bought 1/4 oz Menthol crystals for around $ 1.50, will last for year or two. Take a 30ml bottle of the Tobacco juice and add 4-5 crystals straight into the juice. You may want to start with 2-3 crystals and add to your taste. They will dissolve in a few hours or so. Shake the bottle after they dissolve and vape away. You can add more if you like. I smoked Nuports or Kools and I used 5 crystals. You will read other post that say to dissolve the crystals in alcohol or other mediums. I just add them direct into the juice. It may take a little longer.
than 2 hours,but mine was about that. Bottom line is its the best Menthol Juice around. Its important to like the tobacco juice flavor you will be using. Good Luck. PM me if you have any questions. Crystals purchased at diyflavorshack .com or any other reputable site that has them.

I thought cool rush 26 mg from liquidXpress tasted almost if not exactly like Marlboro smooth.

But like they say taste is subjective.
