Hi, I smoke a pack a day of Salem Gold 100’s Refreshing Menthol ( http://www.usa-cigarettes.com/images/Salem cigarettes/8888.jpg ). Someone has recommend me to get an e cig that has heavy menthol and I am also looking for an e cig that will have a lot of smoke and taste like an actual cigarette (the Salem menthol 100’s) . I have bought an e cig in the past, but whenever I smoke it it tastes like lemon when it is supposed to be menthol and I hate it (I don’t remember the brand either, sorry). I really want to cut down and eventually quit smoking for my kids, but I need to find the right e cig that will taste good with heavy methanol like my normal cig and produce a lot of smoke. I would also like it to be able to fit into my pocket so I can bring it everywhere. I don’t care for the looks or anything really as long as it doesn’t break in a month. I would also like an automatic e cig. What would you guys recommend (I kinda want a starter pack, but not a ton of batteries and stuff. I also want one that looks and feels like a cigarette but still tastes like heavy menthol and produces a lot of smoke)?

Thanks a million for reading and please post a reply,
Scott :)

You won't find a vape that tastes exactly like your cigarette. And you don't want it to. Cigs kill your taste buds. When they come back to life from vaping, you will find out how bad the cigs taste. OMG are they bad.

Here's a good starter setup, it has everything.

Crystal Clear Vaping

I know you said you want one that 'looks' like a cig, but I'm telling you now, those little things just don't have enough battery. I found this out the hard way.

Don't limit yourself to tobacco juices. There is a whole world of flavor out there. I vape wintergreen/menthol myself. The smell of tobacco is a turn off for me now. I've been vaping for about a year now.

Hey all. I am new to this forum and not quite sure how it works. I saw some mention of Salem Gold here so I figured I would try this first...
I have just turned two people on to vaping. One which smokes Salem Gold's and one which smokes Marlboro Red's. Can anyone recommend good liquids that match the two of them the best. I will mix and make them myself if necessary, that's not a problem. I got them the Vision Spinner Vary Volt batteries and Clearomizer set up for starters.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!! Especially for the Salem smoker!!

I was never a big fan of menthol until I started vaping. There are some things that have been tried while attempting to DIY a nice batch for my wife. TFA Menthol (TFA - Menthol - MyFreedomSmokes.com) and I have to say, this kicked my .... with just one drop added to something. It's a concentrate so you only need 1 drop to start with.

Another awesome flavor I like but it's not my go-to juice is Amaretto Sting - Ms T's Bakery Essentials. Have Your Cake and Puff It Too.. You can buy it in different nicotine strengths and it's pretty nice. Very mellow, very smooth and nice mild menthol.

Usually those cigarette look-a-likes don't cut it for pack a day + smokers. There are some that have been able to use them though. If you really want a decent vape you need to not consider what they look like. You can get decently priced APV's starting around $40 depending on the maker. Also, do not limit yourself to tobacco flavors. There are so many flavor possibilities. By not limiting yourself to cigarette look-a-likes and tobacco flavoring you will find a more pleasurable experience and be all around more successful. You can get other flavors with a menthol kick. I actually mix 2 different flavors. Especially if your goal is to quit smoking. I buy them premade a cherry and a menthol. I mix them at a 75/25 to get a cherry menthol flavor. This has been a major help in me being able to quit analogs. Having many flavors to choose from is great.

This is no joke. Tried just 1 puff on my brother's cig and I nearly vomited. How the heck did I smoke cigs all those years? Not to mention when he walked back in the house from having a cig... is that what I smelled like?
