Best method of cleaning??

So I've been reading a lot of posts here sand not posting.g at all that much. So I can't post anywhere else. But what is the best method of cleaning cartos. I have the defender from v9 and I love it! But the carts are getting a nasty taste now. Even after boiling them. It didn't work. Same taste. What is the best method of cleaning and getting the best life out of these things. Also what is the best way to fill them to?? Thanks in Advance !!
