I heard innokin only uses tape on their electrical connections and not solder. I say go Provari unless you are electrician.

You heard? Seriously? Tape?

How long would they be in business if that were true? They're a global industry GIANT.

Besides, they are CE-Spec electronic devices. They not only have to have soldered connections, but must use specific solders, fluxes, techniques, and testing methods at pre-determined limits in order to have their products imported into the EU/USA.

Tell whoever you "heard" that from to snap out of it.

I bought an iTaste vv3 two weeks ago and I love it. I do service industry work and it with the little lanyard pouch work perfect for my busy back and forth. I have it loaded up with an iClear 16.

The iTaste VV 3.0 is an amazing little device. I own two. One lives at my work. Does everything the MVP2 does, (and Provari...eh-hem) in a pen-sized form factor.
6Volts, 11Watts from a pen sized device.

iClear 16's are nice, but check out the Vision X-Jet Spider. Amazing little tanks. Great flavor/vapor. They're a smaller likeness of the Aspire BDC tanks I love so much, and as a bonus they even use the same replacement heads.

Some type of ego is ok. If you don't want to have to top off the battery a few times a day the go with a Mvp1 or Mvp2 with a Pro Tank. The first time that I decided to get off the analogs, I picked up a 510 cig type from Totally Wicked. I had a hard time coming off the analogs while using it because I was constantly having to charge it. A few years latter I picked up an ego twist and never looked back.

Snap out of it.

What exactly are you basing that claim on?

I've taken an SVD apart. I can assure you it is NOT well made. In fact I would define it as potentially dangerous.

The wires inside are not soldered or using quick connects, they are hand twisted and held in place with a small piece of tape. In time the adhesive on that tape will dry out and stop sticking. So, it is possible that either through age, a sudden drop, or shaking, the positive battery wire will loosen and separate. If that happens then it's also possible for that exposed wire to contact the body of the SVD. If that happens you had better pray you figure out what's going on fast because it will create a direct short that bypasses all of the neat safety features inside the SVD and can cause the battery to heat up and possibly catch fire or even explode.

This is something you should NEVER see in an ecig mod that uses 18650 batteries:

It's just cheap, sloppy, and dangerous.

This is how wires should be spliced together.

Are they really a CE-Spec electronic device?

You heard? Seriously? Tape?

Is it the new purple-covered? Or a red-covered one? how many mAh does it have on it? There are several different Efest 18650s, all with different spec, and varying from 20A to 35A (Efest's number) of pulse discharge.

It is this one

and it's 2250 mah
