Thanks for clearing that up, thought so, but wasn't sure. I'm going to buy this one (as soon as I have money that doesn't go to little man) and one day soon I'll tinker too lol
Save up a little more and buy some spare coil heads right away if you don't plan to make your own coils. They last about 2 weeks depending on usage and nothing is as annoying needing to smoke analogues because you are waiting for the post to bring you new ones.

heya - would strongly recommend getting a pair of batteries (samsung 25r's are great for the subox) and an external charger (nitecore d2, for example) - can get both batteries and the charger for under $30 shipped from illumn.com and you can be confident that they are authentic batteries (lots of rewraps and fakes in the market - and not necessarily safe)...

the reason I suggest an external charger is that it is a safer, more reliable way to charge your batteries - you can use the usb charger in a pinch but personally, i use an external charger almost exclusively (got my subox when they were first released and have had very good results with it) - the charging board in teh subox is okay, but not on par with an external - using an external charger will provide a more consistent, regulated charge to your batteries and likely extend their life/ charge cycles as well - keep in mind, you are NOT dealing with a cell phone battery here - these are high drain, high amp batteries - ultimately your mileage may vary, but all of the research and homework I have done (a significant portion through this forum) points firmly towards using an external charger as a significantly better option

cheers - and vape on!

Update: a vape shop opened across the street from the medical flowers:D dispensary in my neighborhood and popped in. The lady was super helpful and knowledgeable. Long story short, I went in with money I shouldn't of been spending, and spent it. I picked up a pretty decent mod for my price range to hold me over, since hubby saw my interest and got his nautilus mini going again. He has his clover back and I'm currently hanging with this guy:

Sorry, I had to lol. I think this tank is an emow mega aero tank, not totally sure but it's just holding me over until I get my subtank mini (or nano). Not sure whether to get the whole starter kit now, and give the istick to hubby, and have a badass matching subox or just get the subtank. It would look nice, but I'm quite fond of my Istick....I just hate seeing his nautilus sitting atop his ugly clover with its two-tone coating. It's like when you see a couple, and the girls a ten, and the guy is a hard two, you can't help but think, what a waste....

So I just wanted to update....I am officially a hardcore vapor. About a week after my original post I bought the I stick 30w. Within a few days upgraded to the subox mini kit (I stick was just to hold me over). Soon after I bought a dropper, which ended up being a clone plume veil by tobeco (it's really sucky). My boyfriend was nice enough to trade with me and I have his 3 post dripper, idk what brand it is though but it's awesome.

Thank you to everyone for the advice, I truly might still be smoking if it wasn't for you guys, I have to change my name now bc I haven't touched my skruf or cigs in forever.

Because it's a horrible clone version of a lovely dripper. A clone should make me want the authentic. Not want to blow my brains out, connections don't make good contact, the screws in the posts back out, and the clouds are super weak.

I don't really think there is a best setup....
I started with a EGO1100 battery and Protanks. It worked I quit smoking last December after 6 months. I did upgrade to a Kayfun during the last month. Then Got a Tube Mech for the tank in January.

IF I were to do it over. I would start with a 30watt or less Regulated mod and the Kayfun. OR if mechanical a Squonker box and dripper. With the tube mech and Kayfun as back-up.

Thanks for the love, New question, but important nonetheless. I've got my eye on the smoke xcube 2. I found it really cheap at plazavapors.com
I'm obviously not a very good clone spotter, and I don't want a clone, this is my big upgrade, and I plan to stick with it until nano-ohm (.000something) becomes a thing.
Anyone know if these guys are legit? Is it all clones? Is it all authentic, I mean it's free shipping and the mod is only 70$, it's a great deal, but great deals throw up red flags.

I want to vape instead of smoke. I currently smoke and snus (skruf mynta slim white, to cut back on smoking) I've vaped before, but want my own setup (without breaking the bank totally) I want opinions on best, and sensible setup for me if I want to get a good strong Flavor (obviously a lower nic content juice) and SENSIBLE clouds (I don't want really weak ones, but I don't wanna be "that gal" who is barely visible in the cloud. I'm terribly clumsy so ease of use/durability is important.
Sorry for the terrible punctuation and run ons BTW.

If you're the kid in the orange t-shirt i'd say you shouldn't be smoking let alone vaping.

I found a smok x cube here : http://vapenw.com/smok-x-cube-ii-160-watt-box-mod-with-temperature-control For $59.99, and here : http://vapingcheap.com/smok-x-cube-2/ for $48.49, and here https://www.fasttech.com/product/2762900-authentic-smoktech-x-cube-ii-160w-tc-variable for $63.46, here for $69.90 : http://www.smokstore.us/smok/Smok-Xcube-II.

Smok sell them for $100 here http://www.smokstore.us/smok/Smok-Xcube-II.

So i don't know what to tell you. I suppose if a vendor bought enough of them they could afford to sell them cheap. Or maybe they are all clones .

There are bad cloners of mods too fyi. But i trust vapingcheap. He is an authorized marketer and advertiser. He gives away coupon codes and lets u find the best deal online. Fasttech is good too. Not everything is great on fasttech tho but thats why they have the review section. They have moderators to view their items and if the item gets too much bad reviews they discontinue to sell them. Thats my two cents.
